Went to Inverness on a month long European tour to stay here for 2 nights. The breakfast was amazing and rooms were spacious and had all of the amenities and was within a few hundred yards to down town. We parked the car and walked everywhere. The guest was very open and accommodated us with all she had. The location...

Terribly small room. No room to move around or open luggage. Even tinier bathroom. Shower is smaller than a phone booth. Certainly not a prime place to stay. Breakfast was well prepared and timely delivered. Very narrow stairway makes carrying luggage to room difficult

Great location, not too far from the train station and near the castle too. Great hosts, made to feel very welcome, clean and tidy room and breakfast first class. The people of Inverness were very friendly too.

Comfortable room with all the necessary items. Friendly management and staff. Excellent breakfast. For us "older" folk the only drawback was the location at the top of the Mayfair Steps. For younger (more nimble) people the location is great; right "on top" of the High St., a block from the rail sta. and not much further to the coach sta.

We stayed here recently, the woman who runs it,Joan, has a lovely manner. The breakfast was great, the cleanliness of the rooms and the dining area is spotless. The guest house is in a very quiet location but it is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Inverness for shops, train and bus station.Well worth a stay.

In February reserved a room for 3 nights arriving in August. Arrived at Ryeford and the room was double booked. We weren't given entry. They shuffled us off to a dirty top of the house B&B run by a "friend" for the night. We are now in an expensive hotel spending for the night and looking for a place to...

This charming guest house is located within a 5 minute walk of local shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes walk to the river Ness. It is located on a very quiet road, with parking never a problem. Somewhat dated interior just adds to the charm. Our twin room was large and clean, with plenty of space for moving around. Breakfast...

We stayed at the Ryeford last night for 1 night during our trip around the highlands. We couldn't fault anything about our stay, perfect hospitality with recommendations on where to dine. Fabulous location with free parking. The rooms were spotless with all the nice extras you don't normally get from chain hotels. After 5 previous stays on our trip across...

Booked last minute and only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed longer. The room was so large and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. The house is kept in pristine shape and is conveniently located just above the centre of town - meaning lovely views of the late setting sun! A great option in Inverness.
