What a great find. Mardon house is on Kenneth Street and within walking distance of the river and town central. This was our first B&B we have ever stayed in. We had booked for two nights but realised there was a lot to see in Inverness and the accommodation so lovely, we booked a third night. James was a wonderful... More

Great value for money. Our room was small, but the bed extremely comfortable. Perfect made to order breakfast. Great muesli and yogurt, oatcakes a Scottish cheese. Off street parking was very necessary as it was a busy road. Perfect location with a short very easy walk to pubs and restaurants by the river or in the main part of Inverness. The... More

Nothing fancy but a comfortable place to stay. We were driving and the off-street parking made life easier. The room was clean, bed very comfortable, and the made-to-order breakfast was delicious. The location is about a 5 minute walk into town and there is a large supermarket a few minutes away. We appreciated the hot water kettle and coffee/tea packets... More

We had an amazing stay. James and Angela couldn't do enough for us. We were given more sight-seeing information than any information centre had given us during our 3 weeks of travelling through the UK. The breakfast was second to none -made to order, fresh and beautifully cooked.

We were welcomed warmly by the host and found the rooms very nice and individually decorated. Everything was done to make us comfortable. The B&B is conveniently located in walking distance to the nice city center. We recommend Mardon House very much.

Mardon Guesthouse is a small and traditional, well-kept B&B situated within easy walking distance from anything that a traveller might wish for (city centre, shops and restaurants, the river Ness, cinema and theatre). Clean rooms and facilities, reasonably-sized beds with good mattresses, a very nice Scottish breakfast including freshly-made fruit salad. However, what makes the place really stand out is... More

James and Angela made my husband and me feel most welcome when we arrived in Inverness for four nights. When James saw my husband's tall height, he quickly offered us another room with a bed that lacked a headboard or footboard, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, the breakfasts were good, and the hosts friendly... More

Loved Mardon guesthouse! The hosts were very welcoming! Breakfast was good, the rooms were excellent with tea and coffee facilities. Location was close to the centre of town and main transport links, there were lots of good restaurants nearby as well as a large supermarket. Would definitely be back!
