Grass pitch campsite and campervan/caravan site. Stayed for the night in our Van, nice quiet campsite. Good facilities, water nice and hot, great location with a lovely 20-30 min walk across the Ness islands into Inverness centre.
I have mixed feelings about this site. It’s located in a municipal park walkable from Inverness. Which is really nice idea that more UK cities should consider adopting. The ground was grass and kept very tidy with electric hook up for our van. Good for children to cycle round. It was quiet at night. It was however left down by a grubby looking shower block that could have done with renewal never mind extra cleaning due to Covid. We used our onboard facilities to be safe.
40 years since I was on this camp site Needs updated still the same decor from 40 years ago Toilets needing a good clean Showers needing a good clean NEEDING MODERNISED / painted Lovely walk up bank of river to Inverness city centre
The absolute most disgusting toilets and showers of any caravan park we stayed in during our tour of scotland. The sites are fine but poorly marked. It is however in a great location with a beautiful walk into Inverness.
Stayed for two nights.couldnt use showers because the place was filthy. Could have stayed 100m down by the river for free -next time! Very run down and very expensive for poor ammenities. Lovely walk into Inverness though -30 minutes.
