We are so pleased we came here, it's just stunning and the new owner Janey is one of the most perfect hosts ever. The room was spotless and full of all you could need, from drinks, to hairdryer. Great quality bedding and towels, and lovely products on offer in the bath room too! This place is so quiet, and peaceful....

This B&B is one of the most romantic locations we have stayed. The hostess has the best recommendations for dinning out and attractions in the area. The breakfast is excellent with hot and cold options available. The rooms have beautiful views of the Loch and gorgeous sunsets. It is a short drive from Inverness and there are so many things...

Considering Jeannie had only bought the property a month before we stayed, and had not owned or run a B&B, this has to have been one of the best places we've stayed, run by one of the nicest people we've had the fortune to meet :) Quiet, secluded, right against the sea with all the wildlife (though we weren't fortunate...

Proprietor recently took over as going concern. Still learning but very welcoming. Definitely a people person and will make a success of the business. Very comfortable accommodation in an idyllic spot. Good breakfast selection. Highly recommended.

The location, traditional build of house but most importantly the new owner- Janey make this a comfortable base from which to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious with wide choice. The northern 500 highway (by car) and Inverness sights are close by...beautiful landscapes and delicious seafoods and local cuisine. The Moray is right outside your window with seabirds and some...

We loved our stay and our room was so comfortable, especially the bed, and there was a bath tub a rare find on our trip thus far. The proprietor was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again.

I stayed here for two nights on a solo trip. I can't fault the place at all. The bedroom and bathroom are decorated to a really high standard. The view from the bedroom across the firth is impressive to say the least. Beach Cottage is located in a quiet secluded spot, and you'll have no trouble with noise. Janey was...

Great location, beautiful views, very quiet and only few minutes drive to Inverness and Culloden. We stayed in Beauly room. The shower corner is not for tall people, but we were aware of it and it wasn't a big issue (I am 176cm and was touching the ceiling). And dolphins showed up as well :-)

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beach Cottage is an idyllic bed and breakfast located on the shores of the Moray Firth only 6 miles from Inverness City Centre. The B&B has a quiet, semi rural location and offers accommodation with stunning sea views. The 200 plus year old cottage has been extended and refurbished to a high standard with two en suite rooms, the Moray and the Beauly. Moray is in the new part of the cottage and has french doors with a Juliet balcony and offers panoramic views of the Moray Firth from Inverness to the South West around to Fort George and Chanonry Point to the North East. Beauly is in the old part of the cottage and offers similar views but they can be seen from the comfort of seats in the bay window. Please note that Beauly has old wood beams and the shower in the en suite has a low ceiling not really suitable for anyone taller than 1.8M. Dolphins, porpoises, seals and sea otters can frequently be spotted from the cottage as well as a huge variety of different species of birds. An idyllic and peaceful location with beautiful scenery. Due to the semi rural location it is necessary to have a vehicle. ... more   less
