Great biker friendly B&B, just off A9 but could be miles away. Very friendly and helpful owners, very interesting due to antiques and curiosities. A real education. 1st class breakfast - just all round good value!

Absolute gem, been driving past the road end for years meaning to stop, finally managed it. Proper antiques yard could have rummaged for hours. Then decided on a drink. Into fabulously decorated house, with a good range of cakes and biscuits all homemade. Attentive but discreet service. A genuine wonderful stop. .... worth it 100%

Very easy to book on the phone. Fantastically helpful, even recovering my motorcycle when it broke down. Its difficult to describe the Torguist as its also an antiques business. This gives it a really quaint flavour that chains cant match. slept like a log that night and then was ambushed by a fantastic breakfast, nothing seemed to be a problem....

It isn't often that I feel wholeheartedly able to write a glowing review but this is one of those exceptions. This is a charming and characterful house with very interesting antique pieces, comfortable bedrooms and a very generous breakfast in the morning. The hosts are wonderfully kind and helpful. Very few people, if any at all, would drive a good...

If you read my reviews you can see that I am usually pretty hard on giving excellent scores. This one of the first lodging places to get one from me. The hosts have a charming place which sits next to their antiques shop. While this normally is not my thing (antiques), this worked for the house, adding charm. The room...

What a wonderful place and people. We stayed for 2 nights, and they couldn't do enough for us. Food is fantastic, rooms are great, and the decor wonderfully eclectic. Biker and everyone friendly. They also have self catering cottages available. Location ideally suited for travelling further north and east.

Our previous hotel had cancelled on us at the last-minute (and anyone who knows about getting advanced lodgings just about anywhere in Scotland knows how bad that can be). We found Angie and her family by chance and it was the best B&B I have stayed at anywhere. Their address comes up on Google under Daviot instead of Inverness and...

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 nights. It is situated at the side of the A9, but we never heard any road noise. We were in the Stuart room which is a standard double. The bed was so comfortable and cosy. The room was very clean and well decorated. There was a small sitting area just by the...

Lovely individual bedrooms and unique quaint front room with an array of antiques. Nice for a peaceful relax away from the hustle bustle of the city centre w. On site is the B&B a tea room and an antiques business. Enough to to be keeping anyone busy.

We enjoyed our stay here - Torguish House by far had the most character of all the B&B's we stayed at in the UK. The proprietors are very friendly, as were the co-lodgers. It's a little far out of Inverness and our en-suite bathroom was rustic and cozy (i.e., a very small showerstall and toilet walled-off within the bedroom). These...
