Lovely room and good shower over bath. For us it was too far out of town. Had been booked as part of a tailor-made holiday. This meant taxis in and out of town each evening. At least a ten-minute walk for the fit and healthy. Located on a quiet street. Told there was a lounge but 'due to Covid-19' this was out of use. Very, very good breakfast with excellent poached eggs. All of our breakfast needs were met with the extensive menu. (Pre-order night before). Problem arose because our flight was cancelled and we had to fly from Aberdeen. This meant a late departure. Although we were able to wait until 10.30 am, there was nowhere to sit and we would have been expected to walk the streets (minus luggage) until the afternoon! Instead we rearranged our transport, but this involved extra costs for us. Not even allowed to sit in Dining Room. Breakfast was staggered so only one table at a time eating. We felt some leeway could have been given but were told it was government regulations.…
Anxieties in these strange times were alleviated- located in a quiet street with safe off-street parking, very clean, spacious room, tea/coffee facilities, powerful shower, fantastic staggered breakfasts, kind knowledgeable host with lots of helpful suggestions. Lovely 5 minute walk by the river into town. Hope to return.
Has a great stay. Very clean, very comfy bed, excellent bathroom, best breakfasts ever, and great hosts (human and canine). We spent three nights here, and can’t wait to stay again. The location couldn’t be better. Very quiet, with on site parking, yet Just a short walk along the river to the city centre and some really good pubs and restaurants.
Very comfortable room, the bottles of water were a nice touch. Fraser was full of ideas of how to spend our day in the area, and we enjoyed our trip to Glen Affric on his recommendation. We enjoyed two lovely breakfasts, lots of choice. One grumble, the shower in our room was a bit cramped.
Couldn't recommend this place more. Clean, cozy, central enough to Inverness, and Fraser was incredibly friendly, making some excellent suggestions to add onto our itinerary. We were also running late to check in, but we called ahead and were told it wasn't a problem. Highly recommend.
