This Hotel meets every expectation - setting is superb, service excellent, food wonderful. We particularly liked the breakfast selection and the general air of comfort this hotel offers. I would recommend for an overnight or longer stay if exploring Inverness and the surrounding attractions.

Wonderful hotel, with excellent staff. Amazing food in a stunning dining room. An excellent base if you wish to see the Scottish Highlands. Very historic Georgian building but with all the mod cons. Frequented by Prince Charles Edward Stewart himself, and he had very good taste, back in 1745 !

Our stay at Culloden was fantastic. The staff were brill ( felt like you had known them for years ). Stunning rooms with beds that send you away to dreamland. The food was top class with a wine list to join. I did not know that Scotland had so many whiskies. We had a fantastic break , Thankyou !

We stayed in the largest suite which needed 2 extra roll out beds . Sadly the spring on the beds were broken and my kids complained if sore back after one night. Dinner was ok and as kids were not allowed in the main dining we had dinner in another room.

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Culloden House. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We had a suite bigger than many apartments and enjoyed being immersed in the history of the place. Dinner was quite good with what seemed like mostly local ingredients on the menu. We also enjoyed the extensive wine...

Driving to the front entrance of this historic hotel, we knew we made the right choice! Its beautiful, inside and out! Make sure to see the Forbes Gardens, just to the left of the hotel, especially if you're there in the late spring or summer. The staff were extremely helpful and informative throughout our stay, and were always willing to...

We had a lovely lunch here again. Cannot fault it at all. Lovely staff, excellent food and the ambience is wonderful. Love the silver cutlery. I had the chicken which was lovely and juicy and not at all dry and the banana dessert which is to die for.

After getting married just outside Scotland we spent a few day in the highlands. We were not disappointed by Culloden, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the house and room impressive. We had a lovely meal, complete with champagne and followed by a whisky tasting. The only negative review on here is about having to wear a shirt...
