We recently stayed at Bunchrew House. What can I say, it was amazing from start to finish! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, it really is a beautiful place to stay, one which we would be happy to return to! We dined in the restaurant, and I'm so pleased we did. The food was exquisite, all prepared fresh and the...

Just had a one night stay, at Bunchrew House Hotel. If you wish to stay at a genuine Highland mansion, then you wont be disappointed.Highland staff, Highland courtesy, music and history. The decor is original, unpretentious, atmospheric and in keeping with the external appearance of the building, and the wonderfull view of Ross-shire, from the Beauly Firth. The staff were engaging,...

Excellent Menu - duo of fillet steak and jacobs ladder cooked to complete perfection. My husband had the best starter he has ever tasted! Pudding extremely tasty and well presented. Beautiful dining room on the shore of Beauly Firth. Attentive but measured staff who were extremely knowledgable. Room was very comfortable. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible!!!

The room was nice enough and comfortable, although very dark due to wall colour and very dark furniture. Bathroom fan very noisy, no chance of going to the toilet quietly during the night! Hotel surroundings and view absolutely lovely. Bar overpriced, however very comfortable lounge with cosy fire. Dinner menu very limited. Breakfast and service poor.

We booked The Bunchrew House Hotel for an overnight stay prior to a holiday in Aviemore. We needed a pet friendly facility (two dogs), fairly near to Inverness airport and this hotel proved to be exactly the right choice. We were allocated a room at the top of a short flight of stairs, which turned out to be a small...

Beautiful hotel with very pleasant staff. The rooms are very nice and well equipped (very nice view of the lake from our window). Very short drive to get to the centre of Inverness. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful with plenty of choice and enough helpings to start your day. Small selection of larger and a little bit expensive for drinks and...

We stayed for 2 nights in January and discovered a real gem. From our arrival we were welcomed warmly by the manager (Nigel?), shown to our magnificent room (Wyvis suite) with stunning views over the firth, decadently furnished with a lovely window seat from where we could really take in the scenery. We dined at the hotel on the first...
