We were made to feel very welcome and the hosts were keen to offer suggestions for things to do and places to visit/eat out.The house has a separate entrance for guests and breakfast is served in a cosy annexe. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Might be nice if a vegetarian option if hot breakfast was available. The rooms were lovely... More

Used this B&B because it was close to the Highland Council building. The room was lovely - as good as many higher end hotels. The bed was very comfy and unusually I slept very well. The welcome was friendly and the breakfast first rate. I thought it was really good value and a bit of a hidden gem. The walk... More

Stayed at the Heathcote for one night, before we travelled up to Oban. The room was spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed. The shower cubical was a nice size, but the shower lacked a little power. Breakfast was cooked beautiful with one of the best scrambled eggs I've had in a hotel, sadly just not enough. Pros Large Comfortable Room... More

One night stay after a long day driving from Skye. The bed and breakfast is correct, good location if you want to continue your trip to the Highlands or to other parts of Scotland. Basic breakfast included.

Last September we spent five nights in Scotland. This was our last stay. It was the most expensive of the places we had stayed and didn't warrant the price. Wires on the floors and a depressing bathroom. We booked on previous Triadvisor reports. Don't know where they came from. My advice? Stay elsewhere!

Situated half a mile from town centre on the road to Loch Ness/west. Comfortable room (en suite), good facilities (inc wifi). My room overlooked the main road, but no overnight traffic noise. Excellent full Scottish breakfast. Nice hosts. Solid recommendation
