I was welcomed by Joy the owner and told that this was my home for the next four nights - the length of my stay. My room was large, warm and spotless, with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. The shower was good and there were toiletries including a sewing kit. There was plenty of hanging space for my clothes and a desk with good wifi free of charge. Due to Covid the dining room was closed for breakfast but instead was served in my room. A list was provided each night with all the available breakfast items and once chosen the guest puts the time it was to be served. The breakfast was excellent! The guest house is a short walk from the Cathedral and there are plenty of restaurants very close. After a days sightseeing - I parked outside my room in the private car park and strolled to the local eateries.

The owners Joy and Elci were so nice to us, we felt very welcome. They had a lot of facilities to sanitize your hands and a lot of Covid measures in place; we felt very comfortable and protected at all times. We loved their breakfasts, we tried the options that they had and you cannot go wrong with any, were so delicious. Our room was massive and very well decorated. It was a pleasure to go back to the home and had a relaxing bath in the hydromassage bathtub. The whole place was shiny, very clean. It was very handy that they have car park. The place was close to the city center and we enjoyed every moment in the home. We highly recommended Carisbrooke to anyone.

Room Tip: If you want a massive room, the one with the hydromassage bathtub is the biggest.

I stayed in Carisbrooke guesthouse for three nights. Joy and his wife made my stay so warm and welcoming. My room was spotless and my bed was very comfortable. Every precaution was taken to protect me and them from covid-19. I loved Joy's handmade sanitiser foot pump. He should patent it! Great value for money and a short walk into Inverness.

Carisbrooke. With roads-up and cones around, drive slowly on approach or you will miss the car park. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Hotel/B & B very clean. The room was a little small but was a good price. Everything in the room that one needs. Breakfast under covid has to be in the room and that was good with lots to eat. Recommend.
