Arrived here with my husband 29th September for 3nights, Linette and Dermot the owners are very friendly and will do anything to make your stay perfect. Great knowledge of the area. Rooms and gardens are gorgeous and sitting in the balcony at night time so relaxing.
We normally stay in hotels but the look of this modern B&B swayed us and when we arrived it exceeded our expectations. Linett & Dermot have found the perfect balance between providing hospitality & giving guests their privacy. The room itself was beautiful and huge! The nice touches of complimentary soft drinks in the fridge was really appreciated. We spent both nights in the room as it was so nice and we had been out exploring all day. Linett recommended where we could get a takeaway and provided us with plates. We liked the location, it was a walk away from Inverness centre but it was by the canal and that was more of a pleasant walk. We would definitely stay again. We could like in the Telford room quite happily.
Just back from a 3 night stay at linette and dermots place. From start to finish was a perfect stay. Nothing to much bother from linettes fabulous breakfasts to dermots abundance of knowledge on the local area. Spotless clean rooms. We stayed in a junior suite with balcony. This comprised of it's own sitting room, bedroom and beautiful bathroom. Will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.
We were touring Scotland for 2 weeks & unfortunately stayed 3 nights at this B&B. Nordic Visitor booked our stay here. This place is not close to anything & the British hostess Linette was condescending and miserable. We only met the owner Dermot briefly at breakfast the first morning. He was very pleasant and said he was delighted to have us. She was not. She told us where to sit at the long table for breakfast as that was where she had her set up. Which would have been fine but it was the tone she used- we both felt like we were in grade school. She made the breakfast which was not very good and during the 3 morning my husband found one of her hairs in his eggs. Since she was so condescending he did not say anything. She would leave a slip on the table the afternoon before in our room for your breakfast order the next day along with the time you wanted. She never asked where we were from or why we were visiting. She assumed we knew how to make calls & that Nordic visitor should have instructed us better. This house is architecturally interesting. Our room was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and a very large bathtub. There was a sliding glass door that opened to a deck but the chairs were filthy. There were cobwebs with giant spiders all along the deck. The deck overlooks a pond but it was full of algae and bugs. There is a partial view of the waterway. There were snacks and some nonalcoholic drinks provided on the first day but were not replenished. The location of this house is not close to town. We would have liked to get a taxi but our hostess only gave us 6 digits. When we went to find her she would not come to the door since it was already 5:05pm.…
We had the most amazing stay at the Inverness house B&B. What a beautiful house ?? Fantastice rooms, delicious breakfast, and a heartwarming reception by the owners. They were there to help with dinner recommendations as well as reservation. advise regarding placed to go and things to see in the area. We will definitely book this place again next time we are in the area
