#16 of 75 Speciality lodging in Inverness
(Updated July 2017) Husband and wife team Donald and Anita Gibson would like to welcome you to Auchnahillin Holiday Park which we hope you will find to be a friendly and informal small mixed site, conveniently located just 8 miles/10 minutes' drive south-east of Inverness, only a few miles off the main A9 trunk road (accessible from either end of the B9154 Moy road). Set in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands, by vehicle from our quiet semi-rural location you can easily reach the Highlands' capital city Inverness which has all the benefits of a modern city including excellent opportunities for sight-seeing, shopping, eating out and entertainment. Auchnahillin is also a convenient base from which to explore other parts of the Highland region, or as a stopping-off point on your travels. We have 10 static caravan holiday homes and one wooden chalet available for hire weekly or nightly, all are self-contained and fully-equipped, and utilities, bedding, linen and towels are included. We also offer 15 hardstanding/grass pitches with electric hook-up and water close by for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans, as well as 10 camping pitches for tents, each with its own gravel parking space so you can have your car next to your tent during your stay. Children and dogs are welcome (please refer to Conditions). We are always endeavouring to improve our facilities and services, and our newly-refurbished heated amenities block offers: *Indoor Campers' Kitchen with free use of microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery and a small seating area for campers. *Indoor dishwashing facilities, laundry with Belfast sink for handwashing, washing machine (£4 token) and tumble dryer (5x20p coins) *Individual private spacious WC and shower cubicles (free), washbasins, hairdryers (20p coin) and shaving points. *Disabled/parent & baby/toddler room. We also have a staffed Reception/Information area where you can leave items for charging or ice-packs for freezing free of charge, a small groceries shop, an outdoor children's play area (for under-12s), and a recently resurfaced all-weather dog walk ideal for 'walkies' first and last thing (please clean up after your dog). Free WiFi is available to guests. We look forward to seeing you at Auchnahillin :)

As we booked before we read any reviews we were a bit apprehensive, but all our fears were groundless as the static caravan and all utensils were spotless. Auchnahillin was an excellent centre with easy access to the Moray coast and Culloden just a few miles away, both sides of Loch Ness and via a convenient bypass round Inverness to the Black Isle and all points north.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Auchnahillin Holiday Park.We stayed in caravan no.1. We were very dissapointed with the cleanliness off the caravan especially at this time of the Covid 19 virus.I had to thoroughly clean the bedroom my son was in ,drawers still had items from previous guests. Headboards in both rooms had weeks of dust still attached.I did not even unpack my suitcase.Drawers including cutlery drawer had hairs and crumbs still in it.Did not cook in unit at all due to the dirty cooker and cooking utensils.Cushions in lounge were very stained. Will not return to this site as I felt my health and safety was compromised.

We booked a two bedroom caravan for 5 nights with our grandson. We chose this site over two others as their website promised free WiFi. We tried to access the WiFi following the instructions given in the information brochure in the caravan but with no success. When we enquired at reception we were advised that WiFi had not been working since they had had thunder and lightening “in the summer” and if we had enquired about WiFi on arrival we would have been told this.

Dear Christine, I'm sorry to know your trip to this beautiful part of the country was spoiled by the lack of wifi in the caravan you rented. I did tell you wifi is available in our Reception area where you were welcome to use it free of charge. We are endeavouring to get the site-wide wifi repaired asap. Best wishes, Anita.

Such a lovely, clean well kept site. Amazing showers and toilets - cleaner than anywhere i have been before. Beautiful site with ample space allocated for tents. Handy for exploring Wester Ross. An excellent base. Shame about the midgies but would be perfect otherwise!

We are a family of 4 who recently stayed in the 2 bed wooden chalet. Absolutely beautiful uninterrupted views over the countryside. Small veranda where we could sit and enjoy scenery/wildlife. All the essentials were provided - linen, towels etc together with cleaning goods, tea/coffee etc. Fantastic base for touring the area. Wonderful campsite- we will most certainly return!
