I stayed here for 1 night in a single room with harbour view. I cant understand the poor reviews given by other people. The breakfast was delivered to your room and was very good. The room was comfortable not en-suite but I had a private bathroom and at the top of the house. I would not recomend this BandB for people who...

I really enjoyed my stay, had a very comfortable bed and I was very happy I was provided with coconut milk for breakfast when I asked for a dairy-free option. The room had a coffee machine and a breakfast table which was great. Thank you!

Stayed overnight after a long day travelling up to Wick by train. I was welcomed by the owner's friendly daughter who showed me to my room and explained the breakfast procedure. A menu is available in the room for you to mark your selection and requested delivery time. There is no dining room, so breakfast is delivered to your bedroom...

I honestly can't understand the last few reviews because I found the Harbour House clean and welcoming. My single room wasn't en-suite but I had my own bathroom across the landing. Breakfast was served to my room at the requested time and the owners gave lots of information about the surrounding area. Ocean views to wake up to and complimentary...

The Harbour House is the old harbour masters house converted into B & B accommodation by the present owners. The rooms are on the second floor, up two flights of stairs which old people in particular would find difficult. The room was small, in part due to part of it being partitioned off for the en suite. The room was...

..this establishment is very dowdy and tired - just like the whole of Wick actually. The reception was muddled and the carpets leading to our room were very, very grubby. The actual room was acceptable with everything working, including wi-fi, but in 2016 one expected a little more. The breakfast was likewise acceptable but nothing to really set us on...

Arrival..area by the harbour. Not suitable for lone women. Door and foyer dirty but hoping for better inside. Greeted by hostess Virginia who showed us to our rooms and was very pleasant. Rooms would have been fine but they were very dirty and we had a bed bug detector behind our bed! Everywhere you looked just seemed dirty even in...

Dingy and dark hallways, room very shabby. Location on working harbour, absolutely not a tourist destination. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in the room. Everything needed a good clean and complete redecoration, I wouldn't have felt comfortable here if I had been alone.

I have never written a review in my life, be it regarding a purchase or accommodation. However I felt compelled to regarding The Harbour House. We decided to stay in the Harbour House as part of our NC500 tour. What a mistake. From the dirty, cluttered entrance we were escorted up several flights of dark, dirty stairway. Our initial impression...
