Room was large had was the bathroom. Wardrobe was broken. Room was quite noisy early morning from traffic outside and the bloke snoring in the next room. I would stop here again. The breakfast was first class. Hot and hopefully freshly cooked. The staff were friendly. The only minus point was I use a crutch and all the rooms are... More

This is an old town house converted to a B&B, and some aspects of the place show their age. Our room was redecorated, but the paper on the bathroom wall was buckling, and I couldn't regulate the water in the shower. Since it stayed really hot I was afraid to step under the spray and washed my hair at the... More

We booked in for an overnight stay on a trip around the north of Scotland, and were warmly welcomed. The room was large, as one might expect in this Victorian (?) era terraced house, and the bathroom in scale clearly adapted from a previously separate room. Other reviewers have commented on the decor and the lack of proper black-out curtains... More

Black out curtains and a comfortable bed meant a good night sleep. Excellent cooked breakfast and wifi streaming in all areas provided me with everything I wanted on a business trip. Perfect and would recommend it.

The good - the price, the owner practically gave the room away to me; the owner was very friendly too; the hotel's location; and last but not least the breakfast which was better than I have had at some of the chains. The bathroom (in the room I stayed in at least) was clean. In short there is a lot... More

we stayed here recently and have to say there are good and not so good points. The good points are the friendly helpful staff, the breakfast and the warm quilts on the beds! the not so good are the tired décor especially in the bathroom, curtains that don't close to keep out the cold and the daylight and the lack... Set in buildings from the 1820s, Wick is a wonderful place to walk, and see. There is a huge desk in my room, giant window to the street, modern bathroom, easy Internet, tea-making .... The proprietor steered me to an inexpensive dinner option so I walked down the street, crossed the bridge, and saw all sorts of great buildings. Look... More

I stayed one night with my daughter here, and it was perfect. Our booking was found without a fuss, we were welcomed and shown our room. The room was light, spacious and comfortable with great beds and convenient power points. The wifi was fast and reliable, and the only thing it lacked was a fridge. The breakfast was the best... Staying here for couple of weeks and i'm glad that i took this hotel. Very spacious room has kettle, tea, coffee, SKY TV, WiFi- just everything you need. Downstairs it is a restaurant and a bar. Just good 5min walk to the centre, 15min to LIDL, 10min to CO-OPERATIVE.

Basic B&B with lovely big rooms. Excellent cooked-to-order breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Not for you if you've got airs and graces but we thought it was fantastic value for money and would happily stay again.
