Excellent hotel, large well appointed rooms with great en-suites. Fantastic breakfasts using local produce and very good service from the lovely staff. Lisa and sidekick molly are were the best hosts we have had for very long time, very knowledgeable about local area and could not have been more helpful with our attempt to see the northern lights. We won't...

Rooms were huge, well fitted and spotless. Breakfast was amazing! Set us right up for the day. The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us great advice on day trips and the northern lights. Pet friendly as well which was an added bonus! Highly recommended.

After our first visit to Scotland in 2009 we were hooked and decided to go in 2010 for a bigger trip. This time not with an organization, but we booked everything on our own. For Thurso we booked this guesthouse based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! Lovely warm welcome by Liz and her dog. We...

Breakfast was delicious and generous and the welcome we received from Lisa made us feel very much at home. Location was excellent, with restaurants and town attractions at our fingertips. Just had a four day break in Scotland and used the lodge as our base. Wow, great place to stay. Lisa and Tracey were superb, they just could not do enough for you.
