Located in-between Glen Affric and Glen Strathfarrar, the finest remaining stands of pristine Caledonian pine-forest wilderness, Eagle Brae is a luxury self-catering log village resort powered by renewables. Genuine hand-crafted log cabins made from colossal cedar logs and topped with wild-flower green roofs. There are no machine cut logs and no two logs the same: every cabin is a unique handmade work of log art. The cabin interiors feature hand-carved decorative wood carvings from the Himalayas, custom made hardwood furniture and kitchens, hand woven tweed curtains and cotton rugs, and every modern appliance and amenity you could need, including a smart TV, dvd blueray, stereo and a pc and printer in every cabin. Eagle Brae exclusively offers its online concierge service where guests can order wines, prepared meals, meats and groceries delivered direct to their cabin: a unique new brand of 'catered' self-catering in spectacular log cabins.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed in the Cinclus cabin at the beginning of January 2023 with my wife and our husky Blue. The fenced off decking area was perfect to let Blue securely out in the open. The accommodation outside and inside was all we expected and more. The facilities were great and really appreciated the welcome hamper. The sauna was an excellent touch. I would recommend the meals available, very tasty and saved on cooking, and available in the separate fridge freezer. The dog walking was fun, but very steep in places. Lots of other areas available a short distance away. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Definitely seeking to rebook and thoroughly recommended.

We have stayed at Eagle Brae 6 or 7 times over the years and it keeps getting better every time. Although there are new cabins being added, you still have a sense of escaping everything while you are there. Pawana, Mike and the rest of the team are always super helpful. We look forward to coming back again.

Simply the most special place. We have been fortunate to visit three times now and look forward to returning in the future. Stunning log cabins, beautiful decor, and the most incredible scenery and Mike, Pawana, and the team look after you but only when you need them too. A unique, luxury, eco centric location with Mother Nature properly grounding you and removing you from everyday life. We think it's perfect!!!

Wow! What a beautiful, friendly, eco-friendly, tranquil and excellent place. The Eagle Brae site/resort and team are one of a kind. Walks, sites, planting trees, nature and the most beautiful log cabins we’ve ever seen or stayed in. Pawana provided beautiful food and service. Mike assisted us in planting trees for our lost loved ones and one to mark the honeymoon as part of their environmental dream. About 30 minutes from Loch Ness. Beautiful sites. The gift shop is awesome. Sylvia, we will return. Thank you Eagle Brae, thanks to you, Scotland and our honeymoon is something we will remember forever.

My husband and I came to Eagle Brae for 5 nights for our honeymoon. We wanted to visit this place for a long time now and we finally booked it for a special occasion. It was the most magical place we have ever seen. The log cabin is amazing, surrounded by nature, we have never seen so many deer in our lives;) We went on some amazing trips nearby and we will definitely be back. We also had our 2 dogs here and they loved it as well. Staff were super friendly too.
