Following our research on Trip Advisor and on a recommendation fro our son we spent three very enjoyable nights at The Old Ministers House. We found Shelagh very helpful and we followed her advice on where to eat particularly for my wife's birthday. For that evening we went next door to "The One Pot Borrowed" which was very nice. The...

We recently had a warm welcome and a wonderful night at this fab guest house. Huge attention to detail, everything that could possibly be done to ensure a comfortable stay, fresh milk & fresh coffee in my room for that early morning cup while looking out onto the Cairngorms, just brilliant. A small sherry in the bath with my book...

This B and B is beautifully decorated and the room had very nice touches, good coffees/teas/biscuits/sherry. The bed was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. However, I felt that we did not get a very warm welcome, being asked why we were there. We were asked to book a slot for breakfast which was a little too regimented for my liking...

A luxurious B&B with all the trimmings - toothbrushes, shaver, sherry, biscuits, it’s all there! Our room was a good size and very comfortable. There is also a guest lounge with an honestly bar, very nice for relaxing in the evening. The breakfasts were excellent. Our host was a lovely lady who was friendly and very helpful. We would not...

We returned again this year and were not disappointed - the same high standard of accommodation and a beautifully appointed, cosy room. Breakfast was amazing again, how I'd love to get my hands on the secret apple and plum compote recipe! It was really encouraging that the jugs of juice and smoothie were taken away and refilled regularly so that...

We stayed here for 2 nights recently. The place was decent, the food was good, the rooms were comfy. The owner didn't, however, make us feel welcome at all. We were polite and courteous at all times, arrived outwith the scheduled booking in time but made sure the owner knew about this and stuck to the time we did give...

Immaculate Bed & Breakfast with exceptional food and amenities. The lounge with a well-stocked honor bar, the breakfast room, foyer and private room and bath were beautiful. We were told that the entire property underwent a renovation/refresh in the past three years. The owner has thought of everything with complimentary sherry, cookies and coffee/tea in every guest room. TVs are...

Bed and breakfast. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. Every detail was taken care of. I asked in advance for a gluten free diet. There were gluten free snacks in the room and also home made gluten breads for breakfast.

The accommodation was of a very high standard and the attention to detail was particularly exceptional, however the owner of the property wasn't at all helpful when we checked in only 20 minutes late. The following morning I paid the bill in full and yet again was met by the unhelpful owner who didn't thank me for my £125. All...

My partner and I stayed at this BB for our first anniversary and we were delighted that we choose this property over one of the Macdonald hotels in aviemore. The setting of the hotel is beautiful and the interior is finished to a very high standard. The owner gave us a very warming welcoming and was very knowledgeable of the...
