Myself and my family (wife, kids; aged 5 & 2) have just returned from an absolutely fantastic break at Pine Bank Lodges. Where do I begin, from the beautiful and superbly well appointed lodge (we stayed in the Bynack lodge) to the gorgeous and very centrally located site, to the welcoming and friendly hosts Simon & Tanja, I really cannot...

Nice standard chalet everything you need for self catering, very handy for the town, was surprised how close to railway line it was but not a problem we quite enjoyed the trains & didn't need a watch they were always on time!

Had a brilliant stay in the Cairntoul cabin, was so clean and well equipped, owners were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again. Aviemore is so beautiful, stunning scenery and so much to do. The cabin that we had had recently been refurbished and was perfect for us. Sadly we didn't get chance to use the wood burner...

I stayed at pine bank chalets for 2 nights along with my wife and 1 and a half year old. We stayed in the nethy chalet which we found was spacious, clean and we'll equipped. The only issue was the fact the train line is directly behind this cabin however trains were not too frequent and after a few we didn't...

Hi Thank you for your great review and we are gald you enjoyed your stay with us. The train line does run to the rear of our site however as you and others have said they are rarely noticed as it is a single track with barely one train an hour and non at night time. If you are lucky...

We stayed for 3 nights in Craggan cabin. There was ample space for 6 adults (we were 4 adults, 1 toddler). The kitchen facilities are great - it has everything you need (including cloths, washing-up liquid and tea towels). The beds were very comfortable. The larger bedroom is very dark however, and the smaller bedroom has only a loft-style window,...

Hi Many thanks for your great review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Craggan is a great wee chalet for familys and friends and as one of our standard chalets offers a slightly cheaper option to our more deluxe accommodation. We have updated many things in Craggan over the last couple of years: the carpets, beds, linen,...

We stayed in Dulnain cabin for 2 nights with our 1 year old daughter and really enjoyed it. The cabin was roomy and very comfortable for our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Reading reviews before we left, I noticed one negative seemed to be that there is a train track right behind the...

We have just returned from spending a week in the Einich Chalet at the Pine Bank Chalets in Aviemore. It was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children and very well equipped. The location was very quiet and we were not bothered by the trains that ran past behind us. The kids loved the little park and playing...

Many thanks for your review and we are very glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We do try to keep all furniture and carpet spotless and do replace them regularly but inevitably they do get some small marks. The furniture and carpets in this chalet are just 2 years old but we will see what we can do as...

Chose pinebanks chalet for its convenient location and privacy. We went for findhorn as we needed a 3bed chalet. Its a very cosy chalet. Only draw back is that you can hear the person using the toilet in the next room. Parking is good. Another thing is that most of the time the reception is left unattended. The chalet looks...

Hi - I'm not sure when you tried to visit reception but it is manned 5 days a week for 8 hours a day and phone numbers are on the door for when the office is closed and we live onsite so are almost always available right away! Findhorn is one of our oldest chalets but it remains one of...

Have visited Pinebank Chalets on various occasions over the years. Our last visit our chalet was a little 'tired' but this time it was great to see the new owners starting to reinvest! New kitchen and bathroom & a wood burning stove! The chalet was comfortable and clean and the beds were comfy (those duvets will definitely keep people warm...

HI - Many thanks for your review. We are working hard to refurbish all of the chalets and offer a higher standard for our guests and its always rewarding when people appreciate our efforts - thank you! On busy turnover days we use agency staff to help us clean whose work is checked by either ourselves or one of our...

Stayed in Sheiling apartment which was a perfect base from which to explore Cairngorms National Park. The apartment was of a great standard and tastefully decorated. Kitchen small but functional. The communal play area was quite literally on our doorstep - perfect for us with a toddler and kept him and our older kids amused. We would love to return.
