Nice room, very comfortable bed. We arrived about nine in the morning (after an all night flight) and we were greeted with coffee, tea and croissants. Tom was extremely helpful, our stay wonderful and I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Sits on a quiet little cul de sac street and is a beautifully-restored 100+ year old home. Tom welcomed us into his home and provided lots of sightseeing tips and assistance. Delicious breakfast is provided and the rooms were beautiful. We had some late-arriving fellow travelers that proved a bit noisy (just doors closing and talking- not partying!), but old...

Booked Claremont House for a weekend stay in Glasgow with my partner. We were greeted with a muffin and a cup of coffee! The room was large with a comfortable bed, fairly basic but then we didn't come to stay in a room all weekend! The area was quiet but close to some excellent restaurants, the Indian 5 minutes down...

I drove up from London and got stuck in traffic. We originally told Tom that we'd arrive at around 22:30, but it ended up being closer to 00:15. Tom stayed up and we were greeted with a huge very welcoming smile. I didn't pay attention to how I could pay and didn't bring cash. Tom said that this wasn't a...

Only a single night here, but it was all positive. Tom showed us to our very nice downstairs room, just inside the main door. He was helpful in discussing plans for exploration, and the next morning, the breakfast was good at a "community" table. The value was excellent here, for a well run, highly rated, b&b

Stayed overnight to see a concert and found the Claremont to ne a fantastic b&b. The room was excellent with a superking bed which was probably the best I have slept in. Breakfast was very good and served in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of choice. Tom is a great host and one of the friendliest owners I have met.

It was my third stay at Claremont House in August this year. Again it was like coming home and visiting an old friend when Tom welcomed me with fresh tea and croissants on my arrival. During my whole stay (11 nights) he always made sure I felt absolutely comfortable. Every morning he and his lovely house keeper Christine served an...

Twice we've visited Claremont, often booked in a hurry to ensure we make a hospital appointment. Tom could not have been more helpful in making an en suite available, directing us to local restaurants, and generally help get out bearings in this large city. Nicely appointed in a leafy part of Glasgow, we will be sure to come again! Jo...

Very quiet location but only 20 mins walk from city centre. Lovely house, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Tom is a great host, very welcoming and full of useful suggestions. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Excellent value for money

This is not like any other B and B you will have visited. The quality of the accommodation is exceptional. The carpets are all deep pile - superbly clean and of high quality. The rooms are all very clean. The towels are so deep, fluffy and heavy in weight. The decor is sympathetic with the period of the house. The...
