This hotel is perfect when going to gig in OVO Hydro - just a quick walk over the Bells Bridge and you’re there 😁 Also lovely situated for walks beside the River Clyde ❤️ Rooms are comfortable… and beds are SO comfy ☺️ Good in restaurant is very good - and waiting staff very attentive 👍🏻
Stayed here for 3 nights while attending a trade show. Excellent service and very attractive location, with a footbridge across the Clyde providing instant access to the SEC. Although it was quite busy, service was always good in the restaurant and food was of a high standard. The views across and along the Clyde are stunning. Wi-fi was fast and free. My only minor criticism is that there isn't much drawer space so I ended up leaving most of my clothes in my suitcase. Also there was no plug in my bath - suggest you bring one - and, like most Premier Inns nowadays, no 2-pin shaver socket in the bathroom: bring an adaptor if you have a shaver with a 2-pin plug!
Was attending the Bryan Adams concert and booked in here for 2nights. Don't think I've ever had anything negative to say about a Premier Inn. Room was clean with everything you needed in it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good fry up in the morning. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights, typical Premier Inn menu but couldn't fault it. (Lasagne was lovely) The location is perfect for the Hydro/SEC, just 5 mins walk. We also walked to the Riverside museum and then into the City Centre, a nice 30min walk along the Clyde.
The whole hotel was clean, the room was lovely, very comfortable and had a lovely view of the river. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Michelle who was a lot of fun (thanks to Bryan Adams for paying the parking 😂😂). Perfect location for the hydro, armadillo or SECC.
Excelkent staff , excellent service , rspacially from Abbey, use lots of premier inns all around the country & this is by far the best, friendly and helpful staff, very pleasant atmosphere and nothing too much trouble
We stayed here whilst visiting the area. The hotel was everything it needed to be. Staff were friendly and the room was clean, functional and the bed was really comfy. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
I wasn't too sure what to expect from this stay, chose the place due to the proximity to the SEC where I had a conference! Was nicely surprised with the friendliness of the staff, the room was nice and clean. A special note for the quality of the cooked breakfast, that many time this would be a couple of dried items kept under hot lamp, well, not here! Every morning the breakfast items were freshly cooked, amazing meaty sausages, excellent quality black pudding, bacon nice and not salty, well, no point going on! Also enjoyed the bar, good selection of drinks excellent priced (for hotel prices), nice staff, every evening had at least of a bit of enjoyment at the bar! Restaurant menu somehow limited but what I tried was nice. The only thing leaving them down a bit was the lack of roomkeeping, not sure why but the maid never entered our room during our four day stay, no replenishing of the toilet rolls, clean towels etc. Maybe we should've asked for it, I'm sure they would've done it but we managed! Overall a positive experience, would definitely recommend the place!…
As a wheelchair user I like to know that what I am coming to is a room which I can access and most importantly use all the facilities without assistance. I know from previous experience that "Accessible Room" doesn't necessarily mean that my wheelchair can fit through the bathroom door or that I can get into the shower! I know that any Premier Inn is going to fulfil all my needs and requirements without any of the assosciated anxiety of venturing to a new environment. The service was fantastic, friendly helpful and efficient staff. Scrupulously clean rooms, a nice low bed - Easy for wheelchair transfers and extra pilows ! On this occasion I chose a room with a bath as this is a novelty for me as I always use a shower chair. The bath's for disabled access have a decent access area on which to transfer from wheelchair to bath and back and also upon which to dry oneself. The bath is shallower than a regular bath to aid with gettingin/out also which is a MUST. The Bar and Restaurant were excellent reasonable prices and high quality, breakfast 2nd to none. Overall for a disabled wheelchair customer I'd not look any further than Premier Inn for a stress free enjoyable stay at very reasonable price in a good location …
Premier inn is usually my choice of hotel for any trip (business or pleasure). Staff were pleasant. My room i wasn't so pleased with; the room was not hoovered with bits of rubbish all over the room and the bed was not quite made up
Stayed here last week for Whitesnake. Room was lovely and clean. Decided to eat in the restaurant beforehand, food was great and our server Mark was very attentive and always happy to help. Would definitely recommend, and will be back in the future!
