From the peace and quiet, you would never know that you were a short walk from the Great Western Road, a subway stop, and The University of Glasgow. Our room was updated and spacious, breakfast was lovely, and our hostess was a joy to talk to.

As usual, a peaceful, comfortable retreat based in the heart of the West End. It's tasteful decor and sympathetic furnishings are pleasing to the eye. Beds are comfortable and it's really quiet. Parking is easy too, £4 (3x £2 vouchers) purchased from the hotel. Tube station just across the street. Just fresh coffee and toast smells on the morning. I... More

Located in a quiet side street close to a range of restaurants; a short bus/metro ride to the centre of Glasgow or walking distance (through the park) to Kelvingrove Gallery/Museum. Stylishly decorated and comfortable. Very helpful staff - even changed my 12-year-old's pillow to a firmer one without being asked and left a nice note (I can only assume they... More

I fell in love with Scotland on this trip and that was partially due to my stay at the Amadeus. Excellent staff. Comfortable and beautiful accommodations. Beautifully kept. Peaceful. If I could, I move in permanently. I didn't spend much time in my room, but I could have easily. The Continental Breakfast was exactly what I liked and the quality... More

I have stayed here several times. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Be prepared for an old house - so the rooms are a bit 'squeezed in' to odd shapes. But the decor and cleanliness makes this interesting and not off-putting. It can be a bit chilly though - Gasgow weather and a retro-fitted heating system. There is a good... More

I visited Glasgow this August and stumbled across this little gem of a place! Warm and friendly with a wonderful breakfast and walking distance to transit. If you are visiting Glasgow, be sure to check this place out as it was perfect for me and exactly what I was looking for!

Fabulous boutique Guest House conveniently located close to the University & shops and very close to the Botanic Gardens. My bedroom was large and comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was adequate but a little uninspiring.
