9th annual visit, as lovely as ever. Tasty fresh continental breakfast ( an added bonus after 3 successive "cooked" breakfasts in other parts so of Scotland on the trip ) lovely comfortable room. Nothing else to say, but happy to keep saying it, and will be back next year and hopefully many more.

I've chosen this place because it was close to the University of Glasgow and because of the good reviews of others who had stayed there. I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. My room was a large family room, number 4, on the first floor, overlooking the river Kelvin.I traveled alone, but I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, which was...

The hotel was exactly what I was aiming for and must confess delivered on all aspects. We stayed in lovely double room which was spacious and clean, the hotel was in a prime location and is very close to the subway for access to the city. However the hotel was let down by one staff member who was extremely rude...

Hi there Dan, Many thanks for your review. Please can you contact me directly with the details of your stay. Our reputation is immensely important to us, and I am concerned that you would report this on such a public forum for the first time. It would be much more helpful if you would contact me via the guest house...

Lovely staff, I booked for a single room and it was tiny but well laid out so didn't feel confined at all which was good as I was exhausted and spent lot of time sleeping! The bathroom had just been redone and was very modern. It took me a few minutes to work the shower - I've never used a...

Not content with just one day, we wanted to make a weekend of our wedding and booked Amadeus for the whole wedding party. We stayed the night before and the night of of the wedding, and are so glad we did, as it provided the perfect space and atmosphere with an ideal location for Cottiers, our beautiful venue. The decor...

A warm friendly group in an excellent location! Breakfast was hearty and surroundings pleasant. We were able to walk everywhere and easily to the bus stops. If we return to Scotland, we will billet here again.

The Amadeus is a little gem of a guest house, very central and very good value. I have stayed there on several occasions and have always been comfortable, also the staff are very friendly. Situated very close to the underground station.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amadeus. The room (#5) was a single en-suite, which had a 4-poster twin bed and was clean and cheerful. Everything you would need was supplied in the room – flat screen, hairdryer, coffee/tea, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a continental buffet, which had a variety of...

Amadeus Guest House is an attractive house, nicely looked after with friendly & helpful staff. My bedroom was fine & the breakfast in the morning was perfect. If I were ever to visit Glasgow again, I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed one night - a double room and a single. Both very clean and tidy. Well appointed with nice shower room. The showers are electric and therefore not very powerful, but do the job! Nice touch of chocolates on the bed, a good well stocked hospitality tray with UHT soya milk as well as cows milk. On the landing is...

Amadeus Guest House is ideally located in the West End of Glasgow, virtually opposite the Kelvinbridge underground. With easy access to the town centre and to the West End, we offer great bed and "real" continental breakfast accommodation. Rooms are cleaned daily, and rates are more than reasonable for accommodation in this area. As we only have nine bedrooms we are often booked up, so do book early to avoid disappointment! ... more   less
