Location - Even though the Hotel is called George Square its not actually on the Square. Its about a 3-4 minute walk to the next block. That being said, the location is still quite central. The Cathedral and Necropolis is about 5-10 minute walk away from the Hotel. Queen Street Station is 5 minute walk away. Central Station is 10-15... More

The staff were very rude and when we asked to speak to the manager a man who was clearly not the manager said he was ( but had no manager badge or any sign of proof that he was ). So we couldn't even make an official complaint. Rude not very nice people working in this hotel and will not... More

Easy walking distance from variety of shops, restaurants & George Square. Nice size, usual premier inn room. Stayed in inside rooms looking onto Church grounds, lovely large windows. Breakfast had nice wide variety of food, no reason to leave hungry & I'm pretty picky eater. Found staff to be helpful & polite when stayed here

This Premier Inn is centrally located, close to a Sainsburys, and the train station and bus stop for the airport. If you've stayed at a PI before you'll know what to expect and this one doesn't dissappoint. The only issue we had was that our bathroom had bad ventilation and had on sensation for most of the day, but if... More

Stayed over the long weekend with a bunch of lads on a stag/birthday bash. Staff were very good, rooms were well presented, clean and tidy. The bar prices were reasonable and service was excellent and friendly. It's a short walk to George Square and the Bars n Shops, taxis were plentiful, although be aware of the taxi drivers who tend... This is a well located, well maintained hotel offering excellent value for money. The bar and restaurant offer good quality food and drink at very reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. Go for the breakfast/dinner/drink option.

I booked this well in advance so 2 nights at £29 I considered to be excellent value. Our room (117) was on the church graveyard side so very quiet..and spacious. We dined in the evening and everything fine.Breakfasted across the road at Wetherspoons "Counting House" as I like the historic detail of the building. The hotel was a tax office..so perhaps this is... Conveniently placed accommodation and good value for money. My one gripe would be charges for meals were a little steep. The rooms are spacious and well equipped although 2 sachets of coffee was a little mean. All in all very good value
