Very nice hotel, large comfortable room, good bed. Breakfast nice, everything you could wish for. Late bar open until 0200,really good if you don't want to wander around city centre late at night. Only negative is they do not accept cash anywhere at all.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the hotel was in need of a refresh. The carpet was old and worn. Our first room above the rail yard was very noisy. (To be fair, we were moved to another room on the other side of the hotel the next day.) Close to the train station, but the area seemed a bit dodgy. It was advertised as a four-star hotel, but it did not live up to the rating. Breakfast buffet provided many choices, but the scrambled eggs tasted like they were made from powdered eggs. They were watery and tasteless. The fried eggs were rubbery.
Stayed for 4 nights. Room was clean and well presented. Bed was very comfortable. Hot water and heating worked fine. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Anything that was required was brought to your room straight away. Breakfast is the usual selection of cereals and full English, fruit and fruit juice. I didn't eat dinner so cannot comment on that. Excellent location for stations and shopping and tourist attractions.
Rooms Lovely hotel room with a lovely bathroom which has a shower with great water pressure and temperature. Plenty of storage space for a weekend stay and the usual ironing board and iron speed in the cupboard. The walls are nice and thick, didn't heard anyone talking in their rooms the entire time, but you can hear people in the hallway very easily due to the thin doors. The AC can be quite loud and taps as it is on so we had to turn it off while we slept, but the room had called enough by then. Surroundings Our view over the clyde was okay, but very industrial. At night, you can hear the trains passing by (even from the 9th floor) until they stopped around 11:30. Parking Parking at QPark is quite expensive - but standard for a city - luckly, Jurys inn offer a discount which is good! The car park had a ton of spaces free even at late afternoon on a Friday. Overall it was a lovely hotel and we will definitely use it again if we need a place to stay in Glasgow.…
Stayed here as part of a bus tour group. Dinner was included. If I were the chef I would be embarrassed. If I was the General manager I would fire the chef. If I was the regional guy for Jury I’d fire the GM The food was inedible. I have your/corporate function food for years. This was the worst I’ve ever been presented
