One night stay in a single room with shared bathroom. On arrival I paid 61 pounds. Shocked to discover dirty sheet and pillowcases on bed, carpet not hoovered, bin not emptied. The young man at reception said staff all away so nobody to sort problem. Offered to give me a sheet to make bed. I refused and asked for another...

One night stay, decent location, 10 minute walk in to town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room pleasant and clean, with kettle and cups to make tea and coffee in room. Beds comfortable, room with bathroom facilities. A lovely big breakfast served in the dining room.

Good location is the only positive for this place. It is well overpriced for what you get. I was awoken at 10:30 with a knock on the door to check out. The room was very hot in the morning but there were no windows to open and let some air in. My friends stayed in a nice hotel nearby for...

We had a night here and it was good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The beds were average but all ok. Worth a shot. Free papers throughout. Middle of town, and well within walking realms of the location. Give it a shot for sure

Stayed at this place for a night - it's in a good location, offers nice breakfast with reasonably pleasant staff however rooms are little on the small side with low and slightly hard beds - particularly the pillows! My advice if you want a little more comfort pay a little extra and stay elsewhere :) grand for a night!

Not worth its money, some friendly staff, other needs more communication skills. Excellent choice in breakfast.Too many stairs for disabled. Out of the hustle and bustle of centre, but up a very steep hill.

Really friendly staff, cheap enough and clean room, comfy beds. Only bad thing was the shared bathroom. Very close to city centre. Great hotel if you are just here for the one night. I'll be back for sure.

From the moment of reservation the owners of this guest house bent over backwards to accommodate us. Our welcome was warm and friendly and helped us to find our location. The room was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was fresh, good produce, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again....

Stayed in room 6 it was OK, the bed was not very comfortable, and the shower did not work, there was a bath though. It was quiet and the location was near the west end. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

GREAT STAFF: Checked us in early, kept our bags before check-in time and after check-out until our bus was due to leave. Helped with unexpected closure of the subway, suggesting bus route alternatives. Suggested venues appropriate to 12 year old granddaughter. Dining staff cheerful, efficient, and attentive. As the furnishings and decor looked dated and well-worn, I was pleasantly surprised...
