We stayed one night due to attending a show locally to the hotel, we asked Kirsty on the reception desk about local amenities..bars/restaurants etc and this lady was so professional and helpful she helped make our stay more enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was comfy too....I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Bed was awful. Had dip in middle that we both kept rolling into. Flooring in bathroom was sore to walk on in bare feet, seemed to have a raised design. Very tired hotel, could do with some serious TLC. Breakfast to go is expensive for what is on offer, we didn't buy it. Have stayed in a Travelodge before but would not stay in this one again.

Is what it is for the price. Hotel needs updating, stayed here a few times for concerts and shows in Glasgow. Room was clean and tidy but there was an unpleasant odour. Staff were friendly, the hotel is a short 15 minute walk into central Glasgow

Clean basic hotel with necessities needed, central, comfortable but the staff make it by giving 5 star customer service. Last time here was good while ago so we was blown away the lady on reception remembered us. Even that the last visit was for family funeral!, asking how we were. Had booked one night so we could attended an event at the nearby concert venue. reception lady Kirsty was super helpful on where to go for food, drinks and suggesting places to visit while in Glasgow. Ended up booking another 2 night make the most of trip from islands. Thank you we had very nice time. Arriving back a little merry night man was helpful helping us and interested in our night chatting away. On our last day we asked for extra sundries in room and help get taxi. The lady isabela was very nice and could not been more help, checking we had enough and fixing taxi. Genuinely welcomed here by very friendly staff who want to take time to know you and help where they can.

Clean spacious room (ours was a double) - one of the most spacious rooms that I have had with Travelodge. Opening windows for fresh air (or use sliding 'ventilator') and adjustable heaters - just pick the temperature that suits you! Generous storage space too by Travelodge standards. Usual kettle, tea/coffee and mugs as advertised. Clean bathroom, powerful shower, although bath was rather short and shallow for an adult! Friendly, helpful staff. Secure too as room key is needed to access corridors and stairwell. Located close to M8/A8 Flyover. Our upper floor room faced the car park, there was some traffic noise but not enough to seriously affect sleep. About 15 minutes walk from city centre, 10 mins walk from O2 Academy and 5 minutes walk from Shields Road metro. I would stay there again.

I have stayed in many places over the years and I have found something wrong with each of them, with Glasgow, Paisley however, I have absolutely nothing negative to say - room was just right, clean and quiet, bed was super comfortable, location to my venue was mere minutes away, and the staff (especially the lady on reception) couldn't have done more or been more welcoming. When we were leaving it was like leaving close friends. A truly wonderful place.
