Arrived her for an overnight break including dinner bed and breakfast with late checkout Staff are so professional, warm and friendly. Rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and we had a great nights sleep Dinner was nice but limited options Breakfast was tasty with a large selection of both hot and cold foods The outside area is excellent , we sat there on sat afternoon for 3 hours It was so good we have rebooked
I booked a room on the top floor with a view of the river Clyde. It was very nice. Spacious, clean, with large TV. CARE: if you don't book a river view room you will likely be on the other side of the hotel corridor where the rooms face a four lane road. The room price was excellent at approx £55 per night and I used a cashback and travel website so will get 10% back Paid an extra £10 each day for the breakfast as it wasn't included, which was satisfactory. If there are no fruit bowls ready, do ask for one. Used the gym on ground floor, lots of dumbells but no leg extension or leg curl machine, just treadmills and bikes. Had a late checkout, agreed for an additional 1 hr overstay as they were full, otherwise could have been later. Good polite service on the reception desks. Location could be better for town centre but after half a mile walk north there are lots of nice pubs and restaurants. Don't cross the bridge and go south of the river for entertainment as not much there and quite run down. I did visit Glasgow Rangers Ibrox stadium to the south however.…
A spur of the moment booking on an amazing DB&B rate, with a bottle of wine, 2pm Check Out and a £10 upgrade to get a river view. Whilst the dinner menu was not what we expected, the food was beautiful & breakfast, buffet style was exceptional. All the staff, reception, bar, restaurant& cleaners were absolutely wonderful & friendly. Our Queen room was perfect even if a little small, but it had everything needed. Safe, fridge, flat screen TV, tea making facilities, even an iron & ironing board !! I really cannot praise and recommend this hotel enough
I have stayed at this hotel around three time over the last few months as the location is great for the football. The staff were brilliant in the hotel and breakfast was great. The rooms are clean although some of them do need refurbished as the shower trays are all scored and marked.
This hotel was fantastic for service, location and the views where amazing. Only 3 min walk from the OVO Glasgow for attending concerts. It has a beer garden over looking the river Clyde and the staff for both the restaurant and table service were great.
