I choose this guesthouse because of its close proximity to the SSE Arena and the reasonable cost per room. When I arrived I was pleased to find plenty of parking spaces on street around the hotel. There is also a small car park to the back of the hotel, which is good if you can get a space, but parking...

Dear bluenose2014, Thank you for awarding us your top score! We're elated you've had great night's stay with us! I agree this end of Sauchiehall Street is quite residential, so it's not usually busy or too loud. We hope to welcome you back soon, as there's lot to be seen in Glasgow. Situated in west end of Glasgow just beside Kelvingrove art gallery and University of Glasgow. Loads of great restaurants and bars less than five mins walk away. Ten mins walk to underground and close to the famous Ashton lane. Rooms really comfy and of a good size. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked the hotel for my wife's birthday to try the local restaurants, bars, museum, shops etc. The hotel was a perfect base and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the modern bathroom with a large walk in shower. The only downside was the street noise which could be quite loud at times. Overall great value...

You check in at the Argyll Hotel across the road. The welcome could have been so much nicer. The woman who checked me in looked and sounded incredibly bored, like she didn't want to be there at all. She promptly handed me the key card to get into the guest house back across the road. To get to my room...

Dear Kirsty and Ash, It seems you have launched a campaign across different forums in an attempt to tarnish our reputation. While there is cause for concern as to why you would do such a thing, we welcome the challenge to prove just how dedicated we are to providing a high standard of service. Furthermore your comments are drowned out...

Great guest house, we stayed in one of the apartments, large, spacious room, spotless bathroom. Staff were excellent. Added bonus of breakfast which was lovely and is served in the Hotel. Parking available on the street, this is £2 per half day which was very cheap. Its about a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Would thoroughly recommend to...

The staff was extremely helpful, the beds were medium soft feeling, rooms were clean (smaller but I'm ok with that--I traveled light and didn't have a big suitcase) and the bathroom was very clean. I loved the neighborhood and we were directed to a pub with excellent food! The morning breakfast had variety and was tasty. Close to Glasgow University.

We chose this guest house because of its location. We were visiting Glasgow University. It's handy for the marvellous Kelvingrove Museum and there are some nice bars/cafes/restaurants nearby. You check in at the Argyll Hotel on the other side of the street. Friendly and efficient. We had been given a room on the ground floor as my wife was in...
