An old building but fascinating and close to the centre. The woman at the reception was super friendly and gave us important suggestions about our stay. The room was good, just to work a bit over cleaning. Great breakfast.

I have stayed at Mcclays Guest House three times. I would not stay anywhere else in Glasgow. The location is handy to everything, but quiet (in contrast to those closer to George Square). Accommodations are clean, beds comfortable, breakfast delicious and quickly served, and staff is welcoming and helpful. Ask them anything and they can help. I love McClays.

Lovely old place currently being renovated. Easily accessible via all forms of transport. Wonderfully friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms cosy and comfortable with windows that actually open! Will come again.

We enjoyed our stay at McLays Guest House, located in the center of the city. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, served in a nice dining room and freshly cooked to our specifications.

Stayed here with work. Found the location not too far from town. Rooms nice and clean although didnt realise when booked it was a shared bathroom, but was ok. Had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning, the staff at breakfast were marvelous, nothing too much trouble. Would stay here again.

I booked this place purely because was on a budget and it was really close to the O2ABC where I was going to a gig, the staff were friendly and helpful, the halls and corridors made me dread the room as they were dilapidated and dated but the room was clean well furnished and quiet, I knew it was a...

Stayed here 3 nights and McLays is possibly the biggest dump I've ever stayed in (that's saying something considering I've backpacked through Europe and China staying in hostels). First you have to drag your luggage through a labyrinth of stairs and corridors to get to some buildings in the back, making you wish you could leave a lifeline to find...

Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend away in Glasgow. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, The small reception/downstairs area of the guest house look recently redecorated however our family room needed a bit of upgrading although it was clean and fine for what we needed. Great location just 2 mins from Sauchiehall Street. Breakfast was...

Room was clean and bed comfy. Wish the ensuite could have been the same, could have done with a deep clean and updated. Breakfast was good, but there was not enough seats and had to wait. Good location and quiet. Not sure. I would stay here again.
