This was ok for one night. The staff were lovely and the room was comfortable. We were lucky to be on the first floor because there is no lift. But breakfast could have been better. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get a...More
The worst hotel I've stayed in! Luckily we only endured a 1 night stay. We were on the 4th floor in the attic. As soon as we walked in we were overwhelmed by the smell of mice and vermin! Disguisting. Even with the window open...More

The trains from Edinburgh arrive at Queen St Station in the centre of Glasgow at George square. It is within walking distance from the Sandyford hotel but if you have luggage i would suggest a taxi. The Sandy does not have all the fancy ecutriments that you find in larger hotel chains but then again it does not have the high price tag either. It was a clean and welcoming hotel and i enjoyed my stay. it is ideally place near the centre of Glasgow and the concert halls.Hope you enjoy your stay.
