How refreshing to stay in a lovely hotel in the heart of the city instead of the chain hotels with their corporate feel. The staff, the décor and the history of the Piper's Tryst make this a wonderful place to stay when enjoying the great...More

Lovely small hotel with great staff. Be aware that the bedrooms are small and there is no elevator available. That said, the staff is friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are small but adequate and nicely decorated. You are welcomed with a dram of good...More

The hotel is a walking distance to the city centre, bus and train stations. The facilities in the room were to a high standard. I had to leave at 4.45am and they had a breakfast tray made for me! I'm definitely coming back!

Pretty good for a cheap hotel apart from a rumbling noise that was like a bus idling outside the window. Could actually feel vibrations in the bathroom. Pretty annoying when trying to sleep but not as annoying as the manageress(?) telling me it was a...More

Dear Chris Thank you for your feedback. I am terribly sorry about your recent stay and the noise that you had within your room. We are an old church built in 1882 therefore the building does make noise and regrettably the heating system has a...More
