Very quiet, very clean, and rather charming - I loved this place, even down to the bagpipe-playing duck. Wee dram on arrival also helped. No time for breakfast on my visit, but it sounded delicious! Highly recommended

Nice rooms, tasty food and great staff, very good location (close to the center and main transportation hub) nothing else to add. This a place I highly recommend for your stay in Glasgow. At the time of my visit (April 2017) the continental/french breakfast (coffee/tea, juices, fruit salad, croissant, yoghurt, marmelade and bread, cereals,...) was included in the price of...

Such good value for money!! The Pipers' Tryst is bang in the centre of town (I was visiting the Conservatoire which was just up the street so that was really useful). Also it's in a really safe and friendly area and the same is true for inside the hotel. It's quirky and full of charm, the staff were lovely, everything...

I stayed here in October 2015 (and have been meaning to write a review ever since!) and was very pleased with the Pipers' Tryst Hotel, which was a late booking for my 1 night visit to Glasgow. I chose the hotel based on price/location, and was delighted that it turned out to have large rooms, be very clean and have...

I travelled down from the Highlands by train to Glasgow Queen Street, I stayed at the hotel on Sunday 26th March. I phoned up days in advance to let them know I would be arriving into Glasgow after 6 pm. They were more than fine with that. I found the hotel easy to get to after leaving Queen Street Station....

We stayed for two nights at this restaurant with rooms. There are 8 rooms in the hotel, which is in the National Piping Centre and decorated along and appropriately Scottish/piping theme. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we were offered a dram of whisky on arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was very pleasant and clean....

Single night stay on a Friday night. Was greeted by a very cheerful and pleasant young lady who immediately offered me a rather welcome, and welcoming, Glenfiddich which was gleefully accepted. The atmosphere was vibrant, and as the check-in area is also the bar in the restaurant, it was a positive endorsement that so many table were busy with chattering,...

Hi bellytubby, Thank you so much for choosing The Pipers' Tryst and for all the kind words you had to say about our hotel. As a little hotel with only 8 bedrooms we do check in at the bar. Lovely hotel, pleasant staff, and great breakfast included in the price! The amenities were very pleasant as well. Upon arrival I was offered a dram of scotch and a cookie. There was even a lovely Scottish pipping rubber ducky in the bathroom!
