Situated just behind busy Argyle St but really quiet and peaceful. Comfortable, homely feeling rooms and an excellent breakfast. 2 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants nearby and a 5 minute walk to the SECC. Would definitely recommend

Warm welcome, lovely room, wonderful breakfast, owners very friendly and helpful. We fully recommend the flower house. Remember to take a dressing gown as it is a shared bathroom (which we had to ourselves during our stay). Everything spotlessly clean and tidy. Loved it. Walking distance to SECC and Hydro.

I stayed at The Flower House for over two weeks. My room was downstairs and next to the kitchen, for a tea or coffee. I had a beautiful view through the garden, and was able to work in my room - it really is a peaceful spot. There is one bathroom downstairs for the two downstairs bedrooms, and there was...

The exterior of the house is extremely pretty, this in a street otherwise totally unremarkable. The owners tried to encourage (with apparently some success) others to improve the front of their houses however, due to the duplicity of a councilor on the street, the other owners took all their 'greening' attempts down. There are two things to be aware of....

We stayed at the Flower House for 2 nights during a trip around Scotland. Our room was on the main floor and had a wonderful view of the back garden. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean and decorated with beautiful antiques. The bathroom is not ensuite, but was only two doors down from our bedroom....

The guesthose is located in the students area with lots of bars and restaurants, the shopping centre and train stations are very easy to reach. What we loved most was the wonderful breakfast !! We will...

I stayed in the Flower House for a 3 month period whilst on placement from work. I was quickly welcomed into Susans (the owner) home. I was fortunate enough to have a room to myself on the basement floor with a well equiped kitchen and bathroom (with shower) adjacent to my room. The room had TV/DVD and Wifi. Susan was...

Excellent location for the SSE Hydro arena, only a short walk away. The house is situated on an attractive crescent and is easily recognised by the plants around the door. It was very quiet and peaceful, we were woken by blackbirds singing! Suzan was very friendly and helpful and provided a more than adequate breakfast in our room. The house...

We stayed here for one night in March when visiting Glasgow for a comedy gig. We walked from the centre treatment of Glasgow for probably 30- 40 mins to get to the Flower House but we could have used the subway. The house is old fashioned and charming, with a huge collection of all sorts of antique furniture, rich fabrics,...
