Stayed for two night in this special looking hotel, a one off and that makes it better. Very stylish and feels homely. The staff are great and very helpful. Location is in central Glasgow. Definitely go back.

Great little hotel on the sixth floor of the Caledonian chambers, next to Glasgow central. A lovely quiet hotel, great staff (complementary water and cupcakes) comfortable bed and general facilities good. Would like to have a fridge ( to keep the wine chilled). Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but it smelled great and other guests commented on...

We travelled to Glasgow in March by train, arriving at Central Station. The Grasshoppers Hotel is only about two hundred yards from the station platform, in Union Street. We had no problems finding the hotel which was on the 6th floor. All the staff were extremely helpful and created a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The hotel was modern, very clean and...

Stayed here for 2 nights on business last week. First trip to Glasgow and the location was excellent. Right beside the Union Street entrance of Central Station and a quick stroll to many shops and restaurants. Initial impression at the street level entrance does not do the 6th floor property justice. Room is perfect and the bed was so comfy...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very clean and comfortable , modern hotel. What a lovely welcome we received from the staff! (all the Glaswegians were absolutely charming and delightful). While waiting about 20 minutes for our room we were shown to a beautifully decorated lounge area. Delicious home made cakes and biscuits were on offer and we could...

Stayed for two nights whilst attending the Country2Country music event. Ideally situated above Central Station. Literally 10 meters from Union Street exit, rooms are on 6th floor. Our room overlooked the station but absolutely no noise from trains. Not sure whether rooms overlooking Union Street were as quiet. Rooms are contemporary and minimalistic (no wardrobes just a few hangers), wooden...

Stayed at the grasshopper for 2 nights, staff, rooms, breakfast , location and treats all fantastic. Ice cream, cookies and cup cakes available at all times, just help yourself, really nice touch. Next to central station. Real value for money . Would highly recommend.

This hotel is very different to any we have stayed in before. Not your typical expectation of luxury. It's quite minimalistic, trendy and informal so I can see why it wouldn't be to everyone's taste but we liked it. Fantastic location. Surprised how quiet it was given the proximity of the station right below. Friendly staff. Comfy big bed. Didn't...
