On the last day of my 2 weeks holiday, which is 16 Sep 2009, i have checked in to this hostel by some reasons. The door of the room was not able to lock and i need to use a chair to block it to prevent someone come in. No bed sheet and duvet were given to me, and i...

I love this place, the staff were great, took my friends and me out to all the cheap drinking places in Glasgow, and they were only a 5min walk away. The bedding was clean and I thought the prices were reasonable, easily the best hostel I've stayed at in Glasgow!

It was absolutely horrible. When we arrived at the hostel our rooms were missing (we were 10 people), the woman at the reception desk said that they didn't recived the reservation through internet so we asked her to look for other rooms for us in other hostels, she said that the city was full and she offered us to sleep...

I would rather sleep in a gutter for the night - even if you are that desperate dont do it - this place should be shut down before the foul mouthed, abusive drunken receptionist burns it down... I agree with all the other negative reviews and i suggest that you take notice of these review before booking a night in...

This place is an absolute disgrace, on arriving the place was in chaos and the staff member didn't have a clue where our room was as she was out of her face. We were not given a room key so could not leave our bags in the room. The owner was drunk and being abusive to a guest who ended...

Everything said about this hostel before is true! Do not ever go there! I don't usually complain about hostels but this time I cannot stay quiet. Me and my friend spent there a few terrible nights and it even seemed that what this hostel is doing cannot be legal. We tried asking in the reception who's the owner in that...

This was the worst hostel I have ever stayed at! It was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting and I couldn't find the showers. When I did, I wished I hadn't! They ripped out the inside of a closet and stuck a shower in there! There wasn't even a door. The whole place is like a maze and I even walked...

Some parts were like an art gallery giving you excellent insights to both the city as well as Scotland, other parts like the starwars theme of rooms were just plain old good fun. Lounge is a real hub for travellers and their was entertainment on most nights ,a comedy night, whiskytasting and bbq were all welcomed by us as we pounded the...

I had booked a single room whichwasnt available when i got there so i ended up in a dark smelly room with 4 bunk beds and no room to swing a cat. The place looked likea CONDEMNED house. The shower didnt work and trying to find your roomwas like completing a maze trek. People at the door steps drinking and...

This place was a nightmare. I was put in a room next to reception, and the night duty staff insisted on watching telly with the volume turned up to eleven, all the while shouting and laughing, for most of the night. It was like trying to sleep in a cinema. There was no consideration for the 8 people trying to...

Very popular, excellently located and highly recommended budget accommodation local, with great links, information and facilities. We aim to be the place we would like to book into on our travels.
