A great bar to have a drink with friends. The atmosphere was friendly with a couple of musicians playing in the corner. The staff were busy but attentive. They have also a lovely beer garden adjacent to the bar.

I’ve drank here for over 20 years and now that it’s been taken over I’ll still continue to drink here. Lovely beer garden with heaters awesome. Staff are so lovely. I had already ate at the buttery and phoned down to book for drinks. Had a great time. Miss the peat fire but they still have a gas one which looks lovely. Can’t wait to go back and eat next time.

Had a lovely lunch today first time visiting this place and will definitely be back. I had Mac and cheese and my partner had a burger and Cajun chips we also got chilli nachos to share. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to us and our two dogs.

Came here with some friends, staff were great and attentive. We all agreed the food was amazing 2 of us ordered a pizza. This was cooked and served from an area of the beer garden visable to customers which was a great touch. After months of frozen pizza I can definitely say they did not disappoint! It was cooked to perfection with plenty of flavour. Although it would be nice to see a wider range of toppings. It was an overall great experience. I will definitely be returning!

Been taken over. Joke of a place. Staffed by clueless kids who look like something from a 18-24 nightclub. Expect to wait 15 minutes for your drink while they stand in a gossip committee behind the bar. Will be boarded up within months at this rate.
