TRAVELODGE GLASGOW GOVAN

Brilliant stay, We were travelling late at night and only staying the one night. Check in was so easy, so far the outside and reception area was very clean and well maintained. Looked quite new and up to date. Easy to find room. Upon arrival to the room it was extremely clean and spacious. Very good value for money. The bathroom looked very up to date and very clean, maybe just slightly cramped but didn’t matter to us. Shower pressure was amazing! Surroundings of the hotel was very quiet maybe some road maintenance going on but wasn’t too loud. Services just across the road, shops like greggs etc just a short walk away. Very easy check out also, no need to speak to anyone if your in a rush. Overall the least stressful stay we’ve had!

Excellent to stay at.

Very welcoming upon arrival, corridors very clean, room fresh and very clean with quality fixings throughout room, served quickly at bar cafe, a good atmosphere and very quiet during the day and evening. Excellent for a short stay.

Made to feel awkward

First night was disrupted by leaking noise. We never realised until the next morning the toilet was leaking onto the floor. We called reception who changed room, but as we was out all day we asked the room be made up and was advised to leave luggage with the reception to move rooms. We arrived back with our too kids around 11pm we was told by the reception they did not know where our luggage was so we went to the room hoping everything would be there. The beds where not ready as promised so I went back to the reception to ask about luggage and if the bed situation could be resolved. At this point I was made to feel very awkward as when we asked about luggage we was told to come and get it from a restricted room and when we asked for the bedding situation to be sorted we was told we can give you the bedding or make it for you. We said if you could make it please. After answering the same women said we can just give you the bedding and you can make it yourself. So I was made again to repeat, we would like you to making it as it was meant to be done. Then again she said we can just give it to you or make it for you again I said if you could make it please. By time the lady come up and we found luggage my kids where still waiting to sleep. It had taken almost an hour before they could get into bed. The next morning I was meet by the lady I give the luggage to the day before. I thought she might ask how was your stay so I could inform her what happened but she never just said put keys in the slot. So I felt I wanted to inform her and did so she said she would send us an Evouchers via email which would take over 5 weeks she never said how much for and left on an awake note. I cannot help but feel this could of been handled a lot better. …

Good nights stay

Last minute booking due to family member being in the local hospital, and it’s a great location being close by. Good night sleep was welcomed following a long journey and the room was very clean and very quiet. Breakfast unfortunately didn’t start until 8am but that may be ok for most. Recommend this if your in the area.

Clean hotel, 10-12 min from City center

Nice clean hotel. Checkin was quick and the guy at the reception was helpful. The room was clean. We did complain about clogging in bathroom but were told that house keeping will come in the morning and they will look into it. Something should be done in that regard, we showered in puddle so now housekeeping can go and fix the issue once customer has suffered. You can take bus X19 or 23 for Glasgow city center (just around the corner) or uber will be 10£.

Helpful warm and friendly.

This hotel was easy to find following my sat nav. (Not all Travelodge Hotels are) Parking was straight forward with plenty of space. The reception area was clean tidy and the receptionist was welcoming. My booking was dealt with and my car registered whilst holding a pleasant conversation. The room was very comfortable. i would use this hotel again.

Was not impressed with night staff I could not enter when returning at night and was left standing out in the cold and when the staff finally acknowledged me they said I wasn’t down to stay and when I pointed out I was staying in my room number they just went on you go really not impressed

Came for a family funeral

Lovely and clean bed very comfy and even lent me an iron on request , couldn’t fault them at all! We came for a family funeral we only stayed 1 night but if ever visiting again we would stay there for longer.

Weekend break

Overall experience was very good we were given the wrong room to start with but was sorted in a jiffy very clean and comfortable 😀 the staff we spoke to were very welcoming. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast the toaster was broken the food was mostly cold although it was under the heating trays.

Excellent!!

Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent food. a really enjoyable stay. Room exceptionally clean and slept veryt well. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much troublefor them. THey looked after us well.
