Travellers' Choice
Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this gorgeous Glasgow city centre aparthotel draws on the opulence of a 1920s ocean liner. The original façade of nautical emblems, seaweed and shell details on this Art Deco building are not to be missed. With original 1906 features kept intact, you’ll find glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-panelling, stunning fireplaces and even the original safes. Our Glasgow serviced apartments offer fully equipped kitchens, 24-hr reception and two on-site restaurants, both perfect for breakfast or a meal after a long day travelling. In the heart of the city centre, you’re on the doorstep of George Square and couldn’t be better placed to explore the city and the surrounding areas. Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations are within a 5 minute walk. If you’re coming by air it’s a short 20 minute taxi ride, and Buchanan Street subway and bus station are a 5 minute walk from the apartments.

22 Hours of traveling later found us at the Native Glasgow. Scott was super helpful getting us checked in and questions answered. Our room was fantastic. Clean, and spacious. Great location to attractions, the subway and many great restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in town.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need and furnished to a high standard. Beds really comfy and staff at reception desk were really helpful. We had booked 3 apartments and lovely lady on reception managed to give us one slightly earlier so my daughter could get changed for a function. Scot on reception was so pleasant and informative. Many thanks for a lovely stay we will definitely be back.

I had messaged the property on booking.com before hand to see if I sent balloons could they put them in the room and they had done this for our arrival as it was my partner's birthday. The room was very spacious and it had all the facilities for cooking as well. Bed was very comfy and large. Will definitely be back :) oh and the donuts on arrival in the room was a little treat!

Located right on George Square in the heart of Glasgow, these services apartments are a great place to stay. Don’t expect a luxury hotel with room service and amenities, but this one-bedroom penthouse unit was a great home base for a couple of days in Glasgow. The unit had a view of City Chambers and the square, and most of the sights of Glasgow were within a 5-15 minute walk. For visiting the West End, a short hop on the charming little subway (or a 10 minute cab/Uber ride) is all you need. Our room had a living space, kitchenette, washer/dryer, and sizeable bathroom , plus a large bedroom and king sized bed. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but I slept well nonetheless. Sadly, it was drizzly while we were there, because the balcony would be an amazing spot for your morning coffee, or a glass of wine. My only complaint is that the doors between the rooms of the apartment are all very heavy and shut loudly, and could use some doorstops to keep them open. These rooms are a great value if you need to spread out and want to have a perfect location while visiting charming Glasgow.

The apartment was very nice, it wasn't the largest but plenty big enough for we wanted, it was very well equipped, more important the bed was very comfy. I like the level of security. We will definitely stay here next time come to Glasgow as it is very central.

Very hard to fault this place. Great value, extraordinary location, nice rooms, friendly staff, old characterful building. Only whine I have is pathetic really.. the room was too hot on a very cold day... told you it was pathetic. The sofa in the room was a bit worn and dilapidated but that was a non issue as the main bed and kitchen were great. Check in was swift and very friendly. Parking discount in nearby NCP was v generous. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for a one night stay (postponed from last year). Apartment was spacious, especially the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. Covid procedures were clearly observed. Milk in the fridge was the final bonus! Will stay again.
