Initially, I was concerned about the location as it wasn't a great area, but after we arrived and walked the neighborhood a couple of times, it was actually quite nice. There are stores and restaurants nearby and we weren't too far away from the Kelvingrove Museum. My major complaint was with the heat. It just didn't seem to work so...

Not cheap but we couldn't really fault it. The staff were excellent, the room great and the Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was superb. We would definitely stay again. The only thing is that it's a bit out of the way for Glasgow town centre but great location for the transport museum and Kelvin grove museum and art gallery.

Nice hotel, great location near Mother India's Cafe...the best curry restaurant in Glasgow. It must have recently been refurbished as everything seemed new and clean. My only gripe was parking. There is no hotel parking so you need to park on the street and pay at the machines. It's a bit of a pest if you're going to hang around...

Hi milinky21, Thank you for your review. Mother India's Cafe is right next to us, however we do have our award winning Indian restaurant Bukharah in the hotel which I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of Indian cuisine. There are alternative car parks in the westend of glasgow and the surrounding area, which can be used for...

Reasonably priced cocktails in the bar £3.50 for some! Nice reception and hall entrance. However, if you thinking this is a boutique hotel.. It's not. I think it tries to be to many things at once. The rooms are adequate not cosy like you might expect and the doors and hallways at night are noisey due to doors slamming. That...

Tried the Lorne Hotel on a wowcher deal, bed breakfast and 3 course meal in the birdtree and bellfish restaurant. I'm a fussy eater but the menu was a dream to me, had a typical Glaswegian 3 course starting with Josey's cheesy beano, then irn bru battered fish, chips and mushy peas and to finish, had deep fried Mars bar...
