An excellent experience from start to finish. From the polite staff who made checking and checking out a breeze and to the excellent showering facilities. This hotel is rated 3 star but I would be generous and say that it could quite easily be a 4 star. Very reasonable pricing for a nights stay, everything was to our liking no cons at all, my fiancé liked getting the use of the straighteners provided they where a nice surprise as she didn’t bring her own. Will definitely be back for a second stay. 10 out 10.

Stayed 4 nights, reasonably priced, hotel room was ideal. Clean room - which was nice and quiet, comfy bed, perfect shower room, tea making facilities - provisions topped up daily, reception very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely recommend, if visiting again will stay at the Acorn again.

Lovely hotel. Stayed for three nights. Hotel staff were very welcoming and extremely informative. Clean and comfy rooms. Facilities great, everything you need is within the room. Breakfast was nice. Location to Hydro was 20 mins walk, which was perfect for us visiting C2C. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is well located for our requirements. Free car parking at the weekend (on-street). Nearby to good restaurants and the Armadillo. Neil was very efficient and completed check-in quickly. Breakfast was very good, continental plus cooked breakfast options. Lots of choice.

Friendly, cosy hotel within easy walking distance of the SSE and the independent bars and cafes of Finneston. Rooms are pretty functional- not a luxury hotel. Didn’t try the restaurant at breakfast but smelled good! Easy to park on the street directly outside the hotel

A one night stay to attend a gig at the SEC Armadillo which was an easy 15 minute walk away. The Acorn is a small hotel pleasantly situated in a quiet area near to Kelvingrove Park & Museum, but close to bars & restaurants. City centre around a 15-20 minute walk for shopping. Room was clean, comfortable & spacious, cooked breakfast was excellent, continental option if desired. Would not hesitate to return if visiting Glasgow in future. Thanks to Duty Manager Alan, for a very enjoyable visit.

This was our first trip to Glasgow. We came to visit the university with our son. I'm so glad we booked The Acorn. Neil the manager was very helpful when our train was delayed from London. He patiently emailed instructions on how to access our rooms after Reception had closed and followed up to make sure everything was ok. The hotel in general is great value for money. Nice clean rooms with welcoming biscuits and teas/coffees. It's a very good location, especially for exploring the area around the university. Highly recommended.

A Great wee hotel close to the attractions and shopping great staff just what is required for a short break in Glasgow This hotel is on very quiet streets so a good sleep was had . Parking was cheap and just outside the building. We will be back in the summer. THe room was compact but as it was just for sleeping in that was all that was required. Great food nearby too with a international range in walking distance
