There is no doubt that the best thing about this hotel is its location - right in the heart of Glasgow and within walkable distance to lots of attractions, shops, bars etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and is attached to some sort of religious/community centre, although that doesn't have any impact on guests. There is a...

I stayed here with a friend in November 2014. During a few weeks, we were coming and going.....and coming back again (& again). So, this guesthouse turned into a kind of "Glasgow base" for us. I had way too much luggage with me....but the people in Adelaides were pretty cool about it & I could leave some stuff in the...

Our room was ok if a bit dark (room 8)right at the back. Pleasant staff. Ok if you're expecting basic. WiFi was poor,as was continental breakfast but it's in a good spot for eating and all else. One thing-dining room hadn't been swept during our two day stay and I wondered if the foreign tourists spotted that, doesn't look good...

Stayed here for three nights in early September 2014 and found it very comfortable. It is exactly as advertised a two star guest house. We stayed in room no. 4 which was up a few stairs and down a corridor toward the back of the guest house. The room had been refurbished recently and was nicely decorated and spacious. The...

I stayed here with a friend for two nights in June. We stayed in a twin room and it was spacious, super clean, and fully stocked with snacks and teas. Based on the information on the website, we were unsure what the breakfast policy and wifi situation was before arrival, but we had both things included in they price and...

We stayed 4 nights on vacation. We had rooms 4 & 8 (moved to accommodate a couple with mobility problems). Both rooms were very clean & had comfortable beds, nice furnishings and large windows. A highlight for us was that the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Ted, Liz, Lisa, Jennifer, Jean & Andrew for making our stay...

Booked a family room with one double and two twin beds - very roomy, space for suitcases, etc. Liked the location as it was pretty much walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff were absolutely great - the most friendly and helpful of anywhere we stayed in Scotland. The only downside was the noise on the street went on...

I spent 3 weeks at Adelaides during Celtic Connections in January 2014. Ted, the manager who seriously is a charmer, made sure that I was looked after with perfection. The entire staff is friendly and kind. Breakfasts were made to order by a very sweet chef and staff. The bed was wonderful and room very clean. Great tub and shower...
