I booked for myself and my fiancée to stay at Glenderran in October 2011, for a long weekend in St. Andrews, both of us having graduated from the university in 2008. My reason for selecting Glenderran from the vast number of B&Bs in St. Andrews was, initially, purely based on the price of the room that they were able to...

Last week, my husband and I enjoyed a very delightful stay at Glenderran House in St. Andrews. Our hosts, Maggie & Ray, welcomed us warmly, the guestroom was really cosy and clean and, last but not least, the Scottish breakfast was delicious! We would come back to Glenderran B&B anytime and strongly recommend a stay there. Thanks a lot for...

The Glenderran guest house is certainly not the place to stay if you are intending on having some fun with the guys on a golf vacation in St Andrews. The main host Ray was abrupt and not at all understanding of four guys on holiday. Our entire stay at the bed and breakfast felt like we were at our parents...

Once again we find ourselves having to defend our actions against a group of 4 male guests who come into your home and show absolutely no respect for our home. In the end we were left with little option but to ask them to leave. Also typical and equally unsurprising, is that much of the detail is missing from this...

A five night stay confirmed why Maggie & Ray Pead's Glenderran Guest House is top rated. My spotless small en-suite single room was more than adequate for my needs in this beautifully converted former merchant's town house, which is centrally located and very quiet. (The maximum occupancy is something like 8 people). At my request, Ray showed me the remaining...

Our stay at Glenderran was great; Maggie and Ray made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until our departure. The rooms were bright and clean and it was in easy walking distance to the golf courses, pubs and restaurants. Their hospitality was second to none and I would recommend Glenderran to anyone.

For someone like myself visiting St Andrews on their own for a friend's wedding and needing a comfortable, safe place to stay which is conveniently located, I would definitely recommend Glenderran Guesthouse. I also think it would be great for couples too. Maggie and Ray made me feel very welcome and were only too happy to help me out with...

Ray and Maggie made our trip to St. Andrews with long time friends memorable. Always quick to offer suggestions for dining, sights to see and assistance with our golf plans, when we asked. The location is ideal, and we could see the coastline from the bay window in our room. The breakfasts were wonderful and it was difficult to choose...

I really enjoyed the Glenderran Guest House in St. Andrews. Nice, clean and very close to the Scores and the Old Course. The Scottish breakfast and the service were fantastic. Very friendly atmosphere.

Less than 5 min walk to the 1st tee at the Old course and the R&A. Ray and Maggie made all of our tee times for 5 days. We played the Old course without a tee time based upon advice from Ray. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and our room was outstanding. Local pubs and restaurants only a...

Ray and Maggie are wonderful hosts, helping to find places in St Andrews and finalize our golf plans. The property is comfortable, quiet, and in every way excellent. Maggie's breakfasts are to die for! We throughly enjoyed our time at Glenderran and would return in a heart beat!
