Great price for the nostalgia of staying at the dorms in university. It's exactly what you'd expect of you had ever lived in a dorm. Only exception was the interesting construction of the shower. Now the shower and the rest of the washroom were separated simply by a cheap shower curtain (expected if you ever lived in a dorm) and...

There is no getting away from the fact that that this is university accommodation but that is reflected in the price. It is a modern block set in well kept grounds and, although the rooms are quite small, they have all the facilities needed - comfortable bed, flat screen TV with full complement of freeview channels, en-suite shower room and...

The price was great compared to the rest of the accommodation options in St Andrews. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was tasty. Room was fine, as were the amenities. This place is only a short walk to the town centre as well, which is handy. The only issue is that the room was small and very stuffy; even with...

The Hall is conveniently located for the Golf course and Town Centre. Given it is student accommodation, the standards are of a high standard and the facilities were good. There is flexibility around dining should guests not fancy the trip into town.

We had an overnight stay and booked at the last minute to attend a wedding and to avoid a long drive home in the dark we looked for the cheapest and nearest to the venue. We found that the nearest was here, boy are we glad we picked here. Easy check in and very clean well appointed room, albeit not...

Stayed 2 nights in this university hall, double ensuite room with breakfast £55 a night. Room basic but has TV with freeview, tea and coffee facilities, towels, soap and bodywash/shampoo. Staff friendly, free parking, decent if slightly chaotic breakfast, inexpensive evening meal in on site bar. 5 minute walk into town.

With around 600 rooms, this is a large operation, but appears to run faultlessly. I booked late and hence my room was on the 4th floor with a long walk to reception snd the dining room; luggage trolleys are provided. Though there are only two lifts, this does not seem to cause any problem. The room was of budget hotel...

Spent the weekend here with my partner and stayed in the halls. Perfect budget accomodation which is unavaileble elsewhere in St Andrews. I had opted to go all out on the restaurants so this helped save a few £ on the accomodation. Short walk from the golf course and town centre. Rooms are small and basic but everyting you need...

Looking at the uni with my son. Decided the chance to stay in halls should not be missed. They are however much grander than my Uni halls of residence! Ensuite with TV and downstairs bar. A very large building with otherwise basic soft furnishings- I guess I could have booked a hotel for the same price as a twin room-...

Just back from our yearly pilgrimage to the Home of Golf. Being at the end of Open Week the stands were still up at the Old Course and town was full of foreign visitors particularly Americans. We always stay her as its great value. Rooms spotless, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast is plentiful and has everything you could...
