Great little hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms, at least ours, are not big but are clean and adequate. The kitchen extract fan outside the window ( room 7) was an annoying noise from 7.45 am until 8 pm but fortunately it was off at night. The food was very good and the drinks reasonable. The website claims "Boutique...

The hotel was perfect for our needs, easy to walk one way to st andrews golf course and the other to the main shopping area. The staff were friendly and the room clean with a view of the sea and st andrews pavilion. A lovely breakfast with plenty of choices available for your needs. Whilst it was a short stay...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Golf Inn. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in St Andrews with fantastic food and wonderful staff. The excellent location near the old course and seafront is an added bonus. We will definitely return for another visit.

Visited yesterday afternoon after a freezing walk along the beach. We were a party of 4 adult, 2 kids and 2 dogs and made to feel very welcome. Soup and sandwich lunch was really good and kids menu portions were also very good. Hot chocolate for kids and wine for the ladies was very much enjoyed.

The hotel is easy to find, free parking nearby. The welcome warm and friendly. The rooms were lovely, comfy and clean and the views amazing. Would love to visit again. Unfortunately our visit was marred by friends we went with turning out to be complete b******s but we would definitely love to visit again alone.
