We called ahead to book only 15 min before arrival. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was lovely, the fish is not for the fainthearted as it was massive!. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a very enjoyable time x

Very disappointed. I have eaten here many times pre covid. I have to say the change to the menu is disappointing, more cheap grub than the lovely options you used to have. Small portions for the price. Wine served in a half pint Stella glass. This was our first couple night since covid so a nice glass of wine in a proper glass , with good atmosphere, service etc was expected and it just didn’t deliver. Tables weren’t wiped between parties , you have extended the amount of people you can accommodate with the marque but not the staff or glasses, staff weren’t following one way system etc. No bar menu available to see what drinks are on offer or the prices . We had booked to come to celebrate my sons 18th, I’ve booked somewhere else now

The staff are very nice here especially the man waiter who is really friendly and kindly took a family photo for us and made my dad’s birthday a great event. This made our experience better and more personal. PS the photography skills were top tier so I’d recommend getting family pictures here too! Would definitely return

Upon arrival, we noticed a large marquee outside. Obviously in place for the "social distancing" thing. But not in the marquee from what I could see. Gather inside as long as the inside is outside. Many tables outside also with large umbrellas over them. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. Room was basic. Minimum channels on the TV until I retuned it and they all appeared. Free wifi worked well. My only complaint is being woken up at 2:15 a.m. by the two clowns in the hallway that sounded as if were talking as loud as they could right outside of our door. Room 8. It was as if they were talking loud enough to hear each other from opposite ends of the hallway.
