Stayed here twice now and both times were great, can't fault the place! It's in a good situation where you can get a tram or train in to the city centre. Staff are great, rooms good and clean! I would stay here again!!

lovely modern hotel, large rooms with mini bar, big bathrooms with deep bath and shower over. nice large TV on the wall and comfy sofa in the room. just a few minutes walk from the tram stop so easy to get into Edinburgh city centre. great pool and gym facilities if a little on the small side, nice steam room...

Good friendly service. The hotel looks bog standard from the outside but fairly impressive once in. Only slight gripe is that throughout the hotel the carpets look tired. Room was fine, spacious and well equipped. The gym, pool and steam room were immaculate and well equipped. Location is fine due to excellent tram service and at 4 pounds for all...

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years and have generally been very satisfied. Overall another great stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, good prices, great location. Unfortunately the hotel seems rather 'tired'. Some rooms need to be properly maintained (heating, air-con, tiling and shelving in bathrooms), others needs painting etc.

This hotel is located a few miles from the city centre but is so well connected by the city tram. Room was bright and spacious. Staff were okay. The lobby has some fun games. Pool was great - not much of a Jacuzzi though. I would stay here again.

Location is good right next to tram station and train station so easy to get into edinburgh centre. We had all our meals at the hotel as were reasonably priced and was really good, rooms were clean...

I don't think I've ever posted a bad review, until now... I'll start with the positives; good check in, lovely bar and nice food. The room though is something you'd expect of a cheap b&b. This is the second time I've stayed here, first time the heating was broke and this time I was greeted by a 'full' toilet so...

I stayed at the same hotel previously for 1 night and everything was perfect, really nice clean room, lovely staff and was really excited to stay again. However this time I am here for a week, on arrival after a 5 hour journey and 4 hours in the office I had a less than helpful member of staff check me...

The hotel was the perfect location for us, close to the tram to get to the airport and also the city, the room was a good size, it seems like it may be time for some renovations the elevators clang about and small things seem to be starting to come loose. We had dinner at the restaurant here and it...

“Central heating was not working at all. This was reported to reception but nothing happened. This made the room very hot at night (2 night stay) and made sleep difficult. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have noticed a decline in standards of hygiene in rooms and bathrooms. Some need cleaned better, others need to be properly maintained.”

“We had an issue with the room temperature - which I fully accept may have down to "pilot error" on my part rather than faulty central heating control. We called reception and someone came and adjusted it bringing almost instant warmth to the room. ”
