Had a great experience staying here at the dene guest house. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and informative. Included breakfast was yummy. Walk was about 10mins into to town I found the location good for everything I wanted to see and do. Would definitely return !

Good location. With the bus you are in five minutes in the center of Edinburgh. Breakfast is lovely and the barhrooms are clean. It is close to Botanic garden which I found one of the top destinations to visit when in Edinburgh.

This guesthouse is ideal if you don't want to be paying hotel prices and want a more personal stay. The lady who owns/manages the guesthouse is lovely and friendly, explains everything you need to know & is more than happy to recommend things to do or places to see. The location is brilliant, if only just slightly out of town... More

I stayed there for three nights and I'm glad I chose this guesthouse. It is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station. There's also a bus stop around the corner that'll take you anywhere in the city. The staff was warm and very helpful. They explained the bus routes carefully and even give recommendations on place to... More

We stayed for almost a week, and it was great-- everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and flexible with our weird schedule of bus tours. We took a cab to the Royal Mile each morning (it's easy walking distance but all uphill) and walked back in the evening. On one of our walks back, we found... More

The guest house is in walking distance from the railway station. The room is clean and nice! Breakfast is awesome too! I stayed at this guest house because it's close to the Botanic Garden. The Botanic Garden is worth visiting if you stay in the guest house.

It was a nice, safe place to stay. Angel coffee around the corner had excellent coffee. If I ever stay again, I would request a room that was internal to the property. The room I got was right next to a busy street, and the traffic kept me awake. The breakfast was nice but could have been improved with a... More
