We approached Edinburgh in a rainstorm, at rush hour, on the wrong side of the road, without a proper map. We were stressed! Donna greeted us with warmth and hospitality, made us a pot of tea, and answered all our questions. The house and room were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was a feast for your...

The guest house is set in a residential neighborhood with many other guest houses. Donna is a wonderful hostess. Her rooms are clean, comfortable and priced right. And her breakfast is to die for. Fresh fruits, eggs to order and yummy cereals and yogurts. We began and ended our trip at this lovely Guest House and could not have asked...

Highlights:...

We spent more than 5 weeks traveling throughout the UK and Ireland. Kilmaur's Guest House was the best experience and value for money. The breakfast was THE BEST. Donna helped us with arrangements for our next B and B, gave us free tickets to tour the Britannia, packed us a huge breakfast-to-go the day we left early to tour the...

We have stayed at Kilmaurs Guest House several times and have always been made extremely welcome. The house is a real 'home from home', clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is truly delicious and such a choice! Always a good selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc and there is a truly substantial cooked breakfast to follow (haggis, black pudding,...
