Stayed at this shabby disgusting b&b last night. They advertise parking spaces but what they don't tell you is the whole family which live in the house across the road use all the spaces for their own card! We managed to squeeze our car in behind one of theirs. As we returned in the evening we watched as another at...

I booked this guest house under the name of Counan Guest House. Unfortunately, I read Tripadvisor after I had booked (doh!). However, I did send and email to say that I had read the report on Tripadvisor and that I was concerned and anxious about our intended stay. I and my daughter in law arrived at 47 Minto Street and...

Booked out of desperation as couldn't find anything else after hours of looking. The other reviews are accurate. We too, got shunted across the road into what must be their private residence (filthy, bathroom never seen a bottle of Jif in years, fire alarms not to standard), we too got told the credit card machine wasn't working and had to...

Beware !!! I rate this minus 10 out of 10 ... Why should I rate it with one star I would rate it with zero stars! Right where to start and where to end! The family and I drove up to Edinburgh from London for a business trip for 4 days. On arrival at 1am we found a note attached...

Why do I have to give them 1 star when zero is what I want. Wife booked, despite reviews, because there wasn't much other affordable accommodation available. Big mistake! -Exploitative pricing (£85) for rubbish. Probs in finding someone to check in with. Had to pay cash ("m/c faulty") We'd booked 'shared bathroom' but were offered ensuite if we went across...

This B&B is now called Annfield House and is an embarrassment to Edinburgh and Scotland. When we arrived we were told that they were over booked but they had a room for us in the hotel across the street we accepted this and followed the lady to the hotel. We were informed on the way that the owner and his...

I actually took pictures as evidence! This was by far the worst B&B I have ever stayed in during my 18 years of travel. Beware - the description on booking.com bears no resemblance to the actual services offered by the B&B. 1. The TV didn´t work - no sound at first, then no picture either. 2. There was NO woreless...

Do not stay in this hotel!! Foyer and rooms stink of cigarette smoke. Threadbare towels and ripped/torn bed sheets. Dirty glasses with toothpaste residue still remaining. At 75 pounds pet night you would be better placed at a backpackers! Complete waste of money, amazed it was awarded one star!!

We stayed there for only one night, before heading to Inverness, they showed us a room and we payed a deposit, our intention was to stay two days afterwards we arranged everything since we had to take our plan from Edinburgh and come down from the Highlands, during the two days we were away they painted our room so when...
