Cheap accommodation is plentiful, but good cheap accommodation can be hard to find. After having tried several places in Edinburgh, I have settled on Hotel Twenty. Not only is it rather centrally located, near the top of Leith Walk but also only 15 minutes from Waverley. It is clean with a nice and competent staff, a good breakfast room which...

The place was disgusting, room was gross, toilet door kept opening. Carpets in the foyer and on the stairs were threadbare and easy for people to fall over. Would not recommend this place to anyone.lace should be closed and completely revamped. Tv was very small

Central location, it is within walking distance from all major attractions. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helped us with queries that we had. Bathrooms were clean however do bring your own soap/shampoo as it is not provided. Complimentary breakfast from 8-10am was varied, consisting of toast, waffles, cereals, coffee/tea, eggs, juice to name a few. All in all...

Absolute disgrace. The room was under basic, could be called dirty. Very central location. The room furniture was falling apart, to the extent of nearly falling over if you tried to open them. The carpet is coming away at the edges, making it a danger. Hotel states that there is tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer & phone.. the room never had any...

Although we didn't expect 4* accommodation, we felt it fell short of our expectations. Room 5 - this room is very dark with only one wall light and one bedside lamp with a dark coloured shade. The bathroom lights, only one of the three lights were working. The shower did not work properly - it was either scolding hot or...

I needed somewhere cheap, cheerful and most importantly, dog friendly, to stay for 4 nights, while my bathroom was being refurbished at home. I'd read the reviews for Hotel Twenty and was pretty apprehensive when I booked in...but was pleased to discover a clean bed, towels, tidy room and bathroom on arrival. Room was to front of hotel (no:1 -...

The worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to book. I know it was cheap but cost us dearly as we booked for three nights and had to walk out after one and find another hotel. Upon our arrival we were asked if we were night owls as the restraunt was busy until eleven and wouldn't be empty until...

Nice and quiet location - close to the centre. We stayed in a family room with 2 small beds and one big one. The beds weren't that comfortable and the windows couldn't be closed completely so it was quite cold, but the room was clean. Breakfast was ok.

Terrible. I'm sure any good review on here is made up on a fake account by the hotel owner. The Lights didn't work in our room so we were moved to another. Lights didn't work here either and it was 4 single beds when we paid for a double, and there was no shower head. We had to go to...
